That was so fantastic! The mystery is still unfolding?! You know for a minute there I wanted to say it was Antonio. Then the family dinner was interesting to say the lease. No wonder Luciana mother was the she was and told Micheal the thing she did. But is there more to it?! Rob really love Patrick. It was so sad the way their life's turned out. I'm glad the boys went to a hotel:) Cause wOw! I know it was good when you faint:) Thank you for the three chapter hook up ^_^

damn, threw me for a loop. Don't know what's going on here; so many twists and turns.... ah well tomorrow, and I really thought it was Robert, but you never know, still might be him and Christine in on this.... all that righteous indignation was just to throw the scent off.

I just got done reading this story for the 2nd time. I missed so many things the first time around! I did notice that you have Steve Cuthbert as two different characters in the story. Once as the father of vic #1, Robin Cuthbert and then as Xavier's hired killer. They are not the same man. I didn't know if this was done on purpose to mess with us :) or was a duplication mistake.
I'm so tempted to make my own white board breakdown of this story like they do on The Closer and other cop shows. I literally have 7 pages of notes with close to 40 characters so far that have been introduced!! This story has more red herrings than an episode of "The Mentalist!" Which makes it so much fun to read.
Correct me if I am wrong, but when Edward was called to help out with this case, there were 5 initial victims. Only three have been named so far: Vic #5 - Mathew Caulkin, Vic #4 - Sven Sandstrom and Vic #1 - Robin Cuthbert. Vics 2 & 3 haven't been named yet. There have been four additional/possible victims since: Kevin Norton (attacked outside of restaurant); Nick Harcourt (twin); Evan Granger (had threesome with twins); and Nathaniel Buchanan (who was missing for a week before parents reported him.)
I find it worrisome that most of the vics were college students and Angelo's boyfriend, Darren, is a college professor. There may be a link there. I also think that Xavier's murder and the serial killings are not related. I think that there are two plots working side by side here that intertwine from time to time, only to keep us guessing because for the life of me, I can't understand why the killer of the gay boys would want Edward's lover Xavier dead and NOT HIM! Also caller Dave has already said that he didn't kill Xavier. He watched it happen and he even went as far as to find Davy Donnelly (who hired Steve Cuthbert to kill Xavier) and "deliver" him to Edward and Michael with a note stating "This is the man you were looking for!" Holy shit!! How nice of him to do so but HOW did he know and HOW did he find him!!!
Also another thing I missed during my first read was a warning from caller Dave to Michael: "and look out for those who look into people’s heads.” The only person introduced who "looks into people's heads" is Karen's husband, Daniel, who is a police shrink. Now he's on my radar!!
Also, something I caught, is that Adam Preston and caller David both said "buh bye" which is odd. Most people just say "bye" when hanging up or leaving. Could caller Dave be Adam? And also, let's not forget when Edward had that erotic dream about Adam and in the middle of it, he saw Vic #4's eyes and heard his pleas. I don't think that is a coincidence.
One more thing, I am not understanding the whole Mary Donnelly-Flannery id'ing Mickey Hanrahan's body as Davey Donnelly's. Donnelly was shot by Antonio Castellani. The ME would have shown up on the scene to take his body away. When it gets to his office, a loved one would have to id the body. So somewhere along the route to the ME's office, Davey Donnelly's body goes missing and he goes into hiding! And poor Mickey Hanrahan, who died that day as well, gets id'd as Davey. So a funeral was held for Davey Donnelly with Mickey's body. And Mickey's boyfriend, Corey Devito attends, which means HE knows it's Mickey being buried as Davey Donnelly. I'm not clear as to how this was pulled off. Obviously, the police and the ME is involved. There is no other way for Davey to escape without their help.
Anways, I can't wait for the next chapters. It's been such a fun ride so far!

Holy shit Connor; you are certainly the man of the cliffhangers! Omg, who got to Daniele? 'Dave'? And wtf is going on with this Johnny Mick guy and Davy Donnelly? And I can't believe Luciana ratted out Phillips to his wife. Shit. Antonio is not gonna be happy about that. And that slime Mick arranged that car 'accident'. Shit.

This story is pissing me off....but that's a good thing :-D! I love the way that you've created the characters, the story line and the plot. You keep us guessing and coming back for more. I'm excited to find out what happens next!

Ch. 23: Whoa!!!! So the guy that Mary Flannery id'd as Davey was Mickey Hanrahan who was boyfriends with Corey DeVito who has now moved out of his apartment!!
Father Daniele WAS murdered!
Robert is looking like shit and I just know there is something bigger going on that he's a part of. Things are possibly unraveling with the deaths of Davey and now the priest! .....I just can't figure it out!!

wahh! what did you dooooooo? *shocked* how could you make o'nile kill himself. wow more and more mysteries get uncovered, how will al of this end. Thanks for the double update by the way, I've been checking aff all day to look for an update.
