When Michael's sister was raging at him telling him it was his fault I couldn't help but think that, with an uncle who was gay and a brother who was gay. she had better better think about what she would do if her child she is carrying becomes gay or lesbian. Would that make her think? I agree with Antonio. How could a parent do that? And yet they do. What a messed up world!!! Thanks for this story that makes us all think.

Don't you fucking tell me Edward and Dave are in cahoots!!!!!! Don't you tell me Dave is on his way to see Edward's family!!!! Well, shit.

Now I'm completely at a loss. I actually took notes. But now they don't matter. Omg.

But since I did: Phillips and Cuthbert have known one another for years??? Is there anyone on this case Phillips does NOT know? lol Since obviously he was lying and DID know Dave pretty intimately. That scum.

Oh shit, I just can't stop thinking about Edward and Dave. Please, please Connor, say it ain't so!!!!! Michael will be heartbroken. Oh, and good for Antonio; he shouldn't let Luciana get away with all her stupid shit thinking! Michael is your son, for God's sakes!

Ok, so I re-read the last part of the last chapter, and I guess I just jumped the gun with the whole Edward/Dave thing. I guess b/c the guy said, "Bloody hell", and I know Edward always says/thinks this. Also the guy is thirty-five, around Edward's age, right? But then I realized that he couldn't wait to be reunited with him as he boarded the plane. So I was wrong. Phew!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Anxiously awaiting the next chapter....Connor I'll say it again: YOU. ARE. FUCKING. AWESOME, AMAZING, FANTASTIC, UNBELIEVABLY TALENTED.....the list goes on and on and on.

I love this story, I really do, but... I just don't think i can keep up anymore! There are so many characters to keep track of. So many dilemmas and it's hard to focus on what's the main plot/storyline. Some clues were brought up then never mentioned again. It's so interesting but I've read for 33 chapters without any type of solution or major break in the case.

I'm sorry, I really enjoyed the chapters so far but... It's just way too much info and a swirl of drama. Maybe I would be able to follow if it was live action, but as text it's too much. I really enjoyed the idea of following Edward and Michael's love evolve a s they go through the case. Then there the issue with 1) Michael's family, 2) Edwards family, 3) The Serial killer, 4) Dave the Caller, 5) Rob Phillips and O'Neil, 5) the attempts to blow up Edward/Michael's Family/Anna/Father Daniele, 6) The mysterious body dumper 8) Xavier's death, 9) Who hired Cuthbert 10) Daves Lover. These are just a couple of the plot lines within your story. There is no focus! I first thought it would be the serial killer but that plot line has been nearly dropped in forgotten. None of these plots have been solved, at least you could start seeing a chain link of plot lines. Plus there is no obvious tie between these plotlines and they often confusingly overlap which makes it seem choppy and confusing.

While the story is obviously well thought out, it only makes me think that Edward, Michael, Karen and Christine are horribly ineffective detectives as they have nearly zero leads. They've done basically nothing and have not gotten any closer to solving anything. Edward's powers didn't really help them at all. There's nothing about clues or forensics to help move the story along. No step towards solution. Although I've read 33 chapters I feel as if I'm at chapter one, where the story is just beginning, the dilemma is being introduced and we're at the bottom of the classic story diagram hill. It's been a good read so far, but I'm just too lost now that I'm disinterested. It seems like a burden to read rather than a joy.

I was wondering why hasn't the FBI become involved in all this especially since there is a serial killer on the loose and now bombings? I guess it's confusing me because I watch Criminal Minds all the time and they handle stuff like this.

I'm sorry I was so blown away (forgive the pun) with Mama C. in chapter 31 I jump in 32 and didn't review. WoW wOw wOw! I love it! The twists and turns around every corner. I'm back to having no clue at who's doing this. I was pissed at Micheal for all the crappy stuff he said to Edward on the way to the hospital. I had guessed by that time that Mama C. had done that to make Micheal fill bad. Your story just gets better and better!

I'm speechless... That was incredible!! Papa has had enough and Mama C. doesn't deserve a man like him. He's a wonderful father. I just can't shake the feeling there is something we done know about him yet. I hope I'm wrong because I really like him. I wonder what was Rob up to visiting the prisoner? David is leaving town and has a young British lover? I can't help but wonder what will Micheal do for his mother's peace of mind? I know he's mad at her but when all is said and done like Papa said she is the woman that bore him? It's been wonderful coming home from work unwinding and reading your story. Three is my new luck number thanks to you. ^_^

God, the "interrogation" scene was hard to read. The women were so pathetic. They didn't do their job asking pertinent questions - the only thing they seemed capable of was making moral judgements on their former boss. The whole honor/betrayal thing was really pushed too far. I'm surprised Phillips indulged them. I personally think that if the interrogation would have been done by someone like Edward, things would have fallen together and start to become clear. But you didn't want to make it easy for us - still keeping us on the edge, I guess ;)

Looking forwards to tomorrow - since it means reading more! Thank you for a great read!

I really don't understand how it took me so long to find this gem.
It's fantastic. Brilliant. It's got everything a good story needs to have - interesting plot, well developed character and lightness of writing. You're neither making your characters unfeeling bastards nor ridiculously over-sensitive boys saying iloveyous every third word. True, they did break out the L word (if internally) rather quickly (especially Edward, seeing how someone he cared deeply about has been killed just several days ago), but they're in the middle of a very difficult and emotional time so they can be forgiven :) And they're not abusing it.
So, to end this rant - really, really good story. Kills my productivity in the best possible and most pleasant way :) Should have way more reviews than it has. Hence this review :)
Cheers.
