Ch. 24: WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I am totally SQUEEEING RIGHT NOW AT THIS:

Michael had enough, and he was way past caring. It was as if his inner caveman had taken control of his body, and so – without thinking – he turned to Edward and slammed him against the car.

“You’re mine,” Michael hissed, his voice so rough, he barely recognized it. “Mine. Do you hear me? You’re done risking your life, and you’re way done giving your number to any potential fucks. Is. That. Clear?” YES!!! YOU GO MICHAEL!! How dare Edward flirt with that male nurse in front of Michael! What the hell was he thinking. It's so rude! lol.

**********

Wait!!! Davey Donnelly is not the same Dave that has been calling Michael!!! Now he's threatening Robert and his loved ones!! AND HOLY FREAKING COW!!!! O'Neil just offed himself "Because of one mistake now everything would come tumbling down." OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! What mistake!!!!!!! I knew there was something BIGGER going on here involving Robert, et al. I'm going back and re-reading this story again. Usually I make a character list and take notes so I can keep things straight but this time I didn't and I'm regretting it. This story is moving so fast that my mind is a bit boggled!!

Oh, I can't say enough how happy I am that Michael and Edward are going to try and have a relationship after this is done. :)

Holy Crap.

I discovered this story earlier today, and just powered through all of the released chapters in about an hour.
I can easily say this is the first story I've found in a long while that constantly has me at the edge of my seat and always guessing. (and more often than not being wrong as well.)

This is beautifully written, and I love how I am significantly drawn in by the plot and progressing storyline. (Though I'm not going to lie and say the dynamic chemistry between Edward and Michael doesn't play it's part as well. ;D )
The apparent suicide of Sergeant O'neill at the end of this chapter literally made me scream. Such a cliffhanger! ; n ;

Anyways, fantastic job on this, and I look forward to updates~!

your unpredictability with this story is astounding. not many authors can keep me guessing like this, normally i would have figured out who the killer was already. keep up the good writing!

Ch. 23: loved the bit about Alan Rickman. Does the samem thing for me. Well, if I had a dick I mean. lol

I think it was "The Princess Bride" movie where he looked at some wench and says, "Come to my room at midnight." Then he looks her up and down and continues, "Bring a friend." I think that was the funniest line I ever heard at that time. But yeah, Alan Rickman, sigh.

Anyway...so now Edward got shot at and it can't possibly be by Corey, could it? But I don't get it: Corey's b/f was killed, identified incorrectly, and now twenty years later he decides to kill pretty blonde gay boys? Was Mickey blonde? Wait, that wouldn't make sense either. Ugh, I'm so confused! I can't believe all the people who are now throwing Phillips to the wolves! lol Wait, I wasn't one of them, was I? I better re-read my comments! hahah

And Davy Donnelly. Whose body just got thrown in front of the precinct. I never thought this guy was the 'Dave' who keeps calling Castellani. Shit, and why the hell is Edward getting shot at? And wtf did Xavier have ANYTHING to do with all this madness and insanity?????? Why did he get killed?

Ok, on to the next chapter. Shit, this is better than Stephen King. And Dean Koontz (my personal favorite) and of course better than Danielle Steele. Another favorite. =)

And thanks Connor for explaining about the police detail for Edward. I guess he is around those cops all the time. And thank God Castellani was there to save his life this time. And wait, if it happened from a car, then the shooter must have had a driver. So now there's two people in on this mess....

OMG OMG OMG I'm speechless! Holy shit. I did not see that one coming! Omg. What the hell kind of mistake did O'Neill make all those years ago that is now crashing down on him? Was it b/c he was in love with Phillips? Omg, and now we'll never know. Unless Phillips knows. Did he even leave a note? Something for Phillips letting him know he's loved him all this time? Oh shit.

And WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU MAY UPDATE TOMORROW?????????????????? I cannot possibly wait until Tuesday for an update! This is outrageous Connor! Pure outrage! lol

Ok I am being a bit obsessive, but seriously, what did you think? At least I know I'm not the only obsessed reader here! :)

I'm so hooked on this story! I started reading yesterday afternoon, and I couldn't stop until 2 am... only because I reached CH 20 and there were no more chapters! And after this I couldn't fall asleep, because I was trying to solve the case. (I have an idea, who the murdere could be, so I'm all excited about the outcome.) And you update so fast! This story is so awesome, really. Very well written too. And you're planning 3 books? I really love you right now. *-*
