OMG! I was hoping it'd b the Carnallis, and it is (YAAAAY) so thank you very much for this Christmas surprise! This prequel was fun to read, and I enjoyed it very very much! It's interesting you decided to make a prequel to the sequel story; what a brilliant idea! I can't wait to read what will happen next!! I wonder if it'll also be in Cobryn's POV again; it's also interesting reading this from his POV.

This oh my god! And in Cobryn's POV!! You know, Quentin used to be my favorite, but a while back, after you completed the second story, I did a reread and found myself loving Con's and Cobryn's scenes (they are now my ultimate faves!). So I'm very glad you wrote this :D And a second part! YAY! If you ever write more of this (like a third installment, or just oneshots) I hope you stick with a focus of them two. Or all. But mostly just them XD Alain had the most focus in the first two stories, with Ven and Quentin, that I feel like we didn't get much of these two :/ (and they're so flipping hot together, too).

I'm seriously happy about you writing this. You just made my christmas even better. I'll be back for the second part definitely! :)

Poor Cobryn was crazy to think that he could take sides with Shearer especially after the guy has been spying on him all week. Cobryn is definitely a hot head so I really enjoy seeing things from his point of view.

*sigh* Reading this makes me all giddy inside and delirious with glee and happiness since I LOVE THE CARNALLI series so fucking much; I think they may be my all-time favorite from you... The Carnalli series that is. Keep up the Brilliant work! I can't wait to read the rest of this lovely prequel. I also hope you do make the third installment but I won't get my hopes up that high since you said you might not actually do it.

Yikes. I wonder if Mitchell did indeed ruffee him... or drug him with something. I like that you're letting us see how the events started here. Yah, it ties in with Cobryn first, but I don't blame him; he got tangled in with him unintentionally at the start. I mean, he saved his brother (at least I think? I don't know if Mitchell was lying about that...). Goes to show how much of a bastard Mitchell really is :/

I wonder what the third part will have... perhaps Con showing up to drag Cobryn somewhere? I'm hoping he makes his way home safe, at least. And I really wish (the very spoiled, needy part of me) that this short prequel could instead be a long prequel... But I'm glad you're at least giving us this :) just... more would be so flipping awesome, too.
