Hey, I just wanted to drop in and say that I've been following this story for a while now, and I love it. I can't wait to see whats going to happen next. Keep up the good work! :)

I tried being patient it didn't work. PLEASE post the second half of this chapter? Pretty please with oily beau-hunks on top? (Points if you can name that movie!) I would flutter my lashes at you in an attempt to bend you to my will but I doubt I'm your type.

I'm glad Shahera (Cricket) has finally gotten some answers about her real family! It's great to know that they care so much about her, unlike Janjua!
And it's about time Ellery realized how he really feels about Cricket! I won't lie, I dislike him still, but if Cricket loves him I'll overlook his horrible jerkness ^_^ cause Cricket is awesome!

*Sigh* If I must, I will give Ellery a second chance. Thank you for the mid-afternoon distraction it was wonderful. Can't wait for more!

Yay Aladdin reference (phenomenal cosmic power...lol)... yes I read the a/n stuff, how else am I supposed to understand other writers :) I have to say I am quite enjoying this, although the tagline is totally misleading, and I like how you are tying things together from earlier chapters (sometimes I don't do that in my stories... cause I'm mean...or something). Tootles!

Okay after forgetting both lunch and my bedtime I finish the posted chapters and now am eagerly awaiting more. Hopefully you're not the mean sort only posting a chapter a month even though the story is finished. I have to agree with a previous poster and say that at this point I'm completely disgusted with Ellery and his willful disregard of Cricket and her feelings. If he was any sort of a man he would have told Cricket's 'Da' to stuff it. The man declared on Cricket's wedding day that Ellery's life debt was to her now and he made that declaration with the full knowledge that she wasn't his offspring. He shouldn't be allowed to take it back now. The Elders need to toss the old man to the Rogues and be done with it.
I do hope that a handsome, caring Rogue catches Cricket's eye and she can end up with someone who truly deserves her. I'm positive I'll keep reading even though I'm sure she'll take the moronic Ellery back but I really wish she would make him live with his idiocy.

You should totally update this ASAP (maybe tomorrow???) This is an excellent story which I have just come across and had to read it all in one go (making me late for work!!) and I equal parts want to strangle or hug Ellery as he seems so confused. Cant wait for the next update and thanks so much for doing an awesome job!

So I stumbled upon your story quite by accident and decided to give it a try. I loved it. I can see why Ellery thinks he's doing the right thing and I can also see that he's an idiot and I like when Cricket let him know he was fickle. I also like the fact that Cricket can only speak in third person. Cricket also seems to be somewhat of a dummy but at least she knows what she wants and she lets everyone else know too. I hope that you can write your next chapter fast and in a hurry. My heart stopped when I couldn't click the 'Next Chapter' link on Chapter 12.
