I love it, it has the right bit of violence and darkness. Maybe a bit dark but I was totally okay with it, and have to say not the darkest I have read. I did find two typo errors or places i stumbled at while reading, the first in the very first flash back and the second later when mentioning the bleeding of Montero’s face and knee.

You're certainly coming back with a roar, or a scream, actually. Quite a few...
But this is extremely well done, and the back story coming out in flashes of recollection is very powerful. You don't flinch from the harsh realities, and it only adds to the magnitude of your story. Tremendously well done!
