I'm on chapter 13. This story just lost its appeal. It just became too much for me to read through. I will have to get back to it when I have the stomach for it and feel hopeful of a happy ending. You are an excellent author. I am confident that you have written the rest of the story with your usual flair, but I hit the part of Mother's return and felt sick. Which is a comment on the subject matter, and not your writing.

Wow, another chapter so soon! :) The drama is so powerful, I love it. It seems like a waste that that old guy bought Sam completely and is just going to kill him, shouldn't he have paid substantially less for one of the "normal" sales? Maybe he doesn't want the police on his back? Poor Sam, I adore him so much! I was kind of hoping that Victor would be furious and vow to save Sam, but oh well... Thanks for the update!
