I am off from work now until Thursday, YIPPEE!!!!! Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!

I am so glad that Mr. Hayward came to Payton's rescue and got him away from the mansion so they can get to know one another and talk. I hope he can help Payton get away from Lucius' control and let him live with him. He has knows so much that he can teach Payton and give him more information about his parents too. I think this visit with him will do Payton a world of good and help him realize that what how his uncle is treating him is very wrong. I hope Payton tells Mr. Hayward the details of what happened with him and Jordan, and how it affected Kane because maybe he can help him resolve the problem.

Thank you for not tormenting me with another evil cliffhanger, LOL.

poor Payton, I want to kick his uncle's butt

I was so worried about what was going to happen to Payton and was greatly relieved when Mr. Hayward showed up. I really like this man and hope he continues to be there for Payton and hopefully they can even live together. I don't know why but cried yet again for Payton while reading this chapter. The way he was trying to stand up for how Lucius treated him and that he was deserving of his punishments was heart wrenching to me. I am curious did Mr. Hayward find the 'punishment' room with paddles but didn't mention it. I wonder if the home he lived in with his parents is still around and will they go there to visit his childhood home. I really wish Mr. Hayward will give Payton the opportunity to decide whether he wants to continue to live with his uncle or elsewhere. I hope this is Payton's chance to go back to Winborne Academy! I hope this means good news for Payton and that he doesn't have to go back and live with his cruel uncle. I think that because Payton has the need to be loved he doesn't understand that how his uncle treats him is just not right. Did not either of Payton's parents have any living siblings other than Lucius that could have taken Payton in instead? What happened to the Grandparents? Was Mr. Hayward telling Payton that he was at an age now where he could decide for himself mean he doesn't have to listen to Lucius anymore or live even live with him? I hope Lucius doesn't get even more upset with Payton for taking off with Mr. Hayward when he gets back. I am glad Payton is opening up to Mr. Hayward because I think he will help him and be an 'adult' he can talk or confide in about things almost like a parent.

I was so worried that Payton was going to have to leave and squealed with joy when the lawyer and friend of his parents showed up. Mr. Hayward is a real decent human being and maybe Lucius could learn some pointers from him. I wonder if that shrew, Ms. Crew, called and told Lucius about Payton's visitor. I loved learning more about Payton's parents and the pictures were cool too. I just hope that Payton doesn't have to go back and live with Lucius so maybe he can stay at Mr. Hayward's home. Thanks for the update and it was actually a good feeling reading it this time. I think things are finally starting to look up for Payton now that Mr. Hayward is in the picture. At the end of chapter though, it was very sad when Payton commented that he was used to being alone and Mr. Hayward told him no one should have to be alone. I have feeling Payton won't have to be alone any longer now that he has this compassionate man in his life who knew his parents.

I can't begin to tell you how upset I was that Payton was going to be getting on that plane to Switzerland and be alone forever. I loved how you introduced Hayward and how it was explained why he never showed up until now. I think he will be playing a huge part in Payton's life from this day forward. I see a strong bond already forming between these two and it will only grow stronger. I hope they do stay close and think Hayward could be a type of surrogate father for Payton. It's going to be interesting to find out how Lucius reacts to the news that Hayward stopped Payton from leaving and even took him away to his cottage in the countryside for a few days which is exactly what I think he needs.

I am trying to figure out the meaning behind the story title; My Lovely Enemy. Why would Payton be Kane's enemy, if that's what it means?

Oh, thank goodness Mr. Hayward showed up in time to stop Payton from leaving! I was stressing out about that. It's a relief knowing he is a kind man and now we know the reason why he hasn't been around Payton for all these years. I hope he can help Payton grow more confident in himself and that he can start making his own decisions even if it's not what Lucius wants him to do. I hope you have a very nice holiday.

I am beginning to think Payton is screwed and it seems the only ones who care for his wellbeing are Bryce and Addy. I wish Kane would stop being a stubborn prick and get his ass moving so he can reconcile with Payton. Kane is being a selfish and arrogant prat who should start thinking more of what Payton is feeling and going through, which is much worse than his so called problems. He doesn't even feel any remorse over Payton or the fact they both admitted they loved each other just days before. I am beginning to think Payton is better off without him and Kane is not deserving of Payton's love. I hope he meets someone special in Switzerland who will sweep him off his feet. Kane can go screw himself is how I feel.

Sorry this review is late! I work retail and my boss is giving us all more hours for Christmas so it's been totally crazy! I am going in later this morning but working the overnight shift. I hate it because the real creepy customers come out then and it's bad enough during the day, LOL.

Anyway, I hope that lawyer guy is on to Lucius and think he might be because Lucius seems to be panicking and taking it out on Payton even more than he usually does. Doesn't anyone from the courts check on Payton to see how he's doing? It's so crazy that his uncle is allowed to treat him like he does and no one seems to care. If Addy has nice parents, maybe the courts would allow him to live with them and then Payton and Addy can be like brothers. I hope Payton doesn't go to Switzerland because his friends won't know where he is. I want to slap Kane for still being a pigheaded idiot and tell him to go to Payton before he loses him forever.
