Great chapter Ayato. Lan and Po are so cute together. It was quite amusing to see how surprised Po was when Lan said no to doing sexy things together. I get the feeling that Po is better at talking than he is letting on.

heh, yeah. that one would be awkward to explain, even if his ma were the open minded understanding type.

Thanks for the new chapter. Why does Bren feel that he has to insult and threaten Lan so much? I wonder if he thinks that he will impress Ella by bullying her friend around like that. Maybe he is just working on his alpha male persona for when his brothers come home. I don't know if Po would let him beat Lan though. Things are going to get strange when Lan's brothers come home. I also was wondering about the nine year old nephew in chapter 1. Whose child is it and does he live somewhere else?

My problem with Bren is that he is discriminating against PO because he is Sidhe. Bren seems like a nice enough person otherwise, but if PO was just another human, even if that human was in trouble with the law, I bet Bren would not pick on him so much. It is like he is saying "Why should I be inconvenienced for an animal?" Either way I hope Po will not be recaptured by the government and I don't trust Bren to keep him safe. What is Lan going to do to protect Po? I wish there was a safer place that they could hide him without endangering the family. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I love the idea of your stories and I really enjoy reading this one, but I have to say that I'm having a hard time placing it alongside your other works. I started reading Partners, which implies (at least in the beginning - I don't know about the end) that the world is not in a governmental power struggle and people were trying to learn more about Sidhe, but here it seems people know very little about them. I started reading Soul Bound that seemed to take place centuries after that first book, and I had trouble distinguishing Sidhe from people so I figured they found a way to co-exist more. I started reading Cuddle and Sidhe were breeding people out of their blood lines and now here Po was clearly being held in a lab or something and again people know nothing about Sidhe. All your previous books spoke about the Sidhe hierarchy, but this book states people don't think they have one. All the books talk about the huge tree they live in, but this one says they have no civilizations. I'm interested in seeing how this is going to tie in and whether it'll be explained. What I really loved about Partners was seeing Paw through Mik's eyes; seeing the weird behaviors Mik didn't understand and knowing myself it had a significance. I loved the learning process - when Paw started being able to communicate and they could learn about each other - and I really look forward to seeing that between Po and Lan. I feel like Lan could use a big Sidhe backing him up like a protector because with all the abuse going around he clearly needs it. I really like Po's character as well and hope to see more of him. I feel like he's got a bratty streak that can be hilarious. Keep up the good work!
