This was amazing. A real masterpiece and inspiration on a different kind of relationship. I loved it. Thank you.

I loved that ending^^ it was nice to see that throughout the story you had them continue to relate to each other as two teenage boys typically would. As for the boys themselves, Max especially seems lost, lonely and a little desperate for contact. I think he wants closeness but he mistakes physical and emotional and what he really needs. Although on the plus side he eventually comes around, it only took him two months (they can be so dense) to realize that having new experiences and meeting new people might not be the same without Cody around. Of course he can't actually say that, it would probably ruin his image or something ;) Cody on the other hand seems to do alright considering he's attracted to his friend and he deals with it (and Max) in a rather straightforward and blunt way, even through all the arguing and swearing.^^ They certainly make for an interesting dynamic, I actually wouldn't mind seeing them again :)

Last little thing, I liked that you had them involved in a sport that's just a little different from the norm not just your typical soccer mates and the way you wrote them in relation to the water made for a great atmosphere :) It was a wonderful story, thank you for posting ^.^

Ooooh, the first installment was EXCELLENT!!! Off to part Deux!

I liked this a lot, even though it is bittersweet and makes me a little sad. If nothing else, Max is not a very good friend. Still, nice and easy flow of writing; for some reason your brief description of the months passing really stood out to me. You have consistent characters and a realistic plot. Well done.
