I am not really sure how to review this.
I am a fan of your two lovers universe, and decided to try the old world stories as it sounded intriguing.
I don't know how I feel about this story. Up until the last chapter I didn't like it. It was well written and the characters and plot are interesting, but the entire thing is very confusing. I still don't think I understand the ranks, and I hated the way the characters interacted but then I read the last chapter and suddenly I like the story...this confuses me...

Of course I read this backwards and sideways. Should have read Captain of the Guard first, then this, then Broken Innocence. Naturally I didn't. Naturally I started reading Broken Innocence, then this, and soon Captain of the Gaurad. *facepalm* Ah well!

This was fantastic! It cleared up a bit of the questions I had from Broken Innocence, and I love Yoem, he's beyond hilarious and smart. And I like Mal, and Ara, and Elt. They're my favorite characters. The last line of this story was perfect. Gah! I just love the worlds you create. They are always the right mix of serious, funny, slight confusion, genius, and intrigueing that I love in all the stories and books that I read. *huge grin*

This was such a joy to read :) Thanks for sharing. Though, I do have one comment. In some places Yeom spoke perfectly fluent English while in others he would fall into incomplete, broken sentences. Was that intentional?

couldn't sleep cause i can't seem to figure out where i'd stuck my wallet....... and i love how the story ended even though it's disappointing to know that Star Child is done. i can't wait for Yoem's dad try and bed Elt. i wonder what he'll do. thanks for the update and i'm waiting eagerly for ur new stories!

;-; its over but the ending was so sweet and endearing can wait for the stories to go with kinda felt short rofl maybe its a side effect form reading some of you longer works rofl

wooo this was really unexpected. specially Talten's sudden gruesome death. Mal got his revenge at least with wat Talten did to the boy and all. thanks much for the update! hope to read more soon. :D

p.s of all your stories I like this one best and I only read this one. Besides it I gave Stray a shot but gave up two week s ago( it became way too coonfusing to me. they're into some settlement and shit like that). I'm least interested in Hellian( gave up after ch 3 or 4 if I recall well. I dunno I don't like stories in which sex scenes come right away at the start neither when they don't coe foerver( stray).

Interesting chapter. I don't know but if I where to rank which ones I am most ineterested I would say.

4 Cuddle (but this one I only read sometimes. I haven't even read the last 2 chapters. I can't really explain why.)

I don't know what Ara wants. I also don't really get why Talten is planning to marry her if he does not know what is going on with her. I think Leo should just kill Talten and his mother and be done with it. I know Mal would do it in an instant, but he is too young to be Pyanna's warrior. It just doesn't seem like Leo will be able to tolerate life with Talten for another 6 years though.
