He was lucky he wasn't punished for trying to escape. I wonder if Richard will remind Puck later about his little escapade.

I wonder what's going to happen at dinner and knowing Puck it probably won't go smoothly.

on one hand, this is one of the best stories of it's kind I've read so far. I don't know what is your source of inspiration, but whatever, your style is quite good. I hope you'll finish it very soon, can't wait for what happens next :)
on the other, I have the impression Puck just wants to get fucked by anyone... you should dig more one the parallel you made between heroin need and sex, and abuse on both parts. I guess you have to do something with Edward: this character been shut down from the story would be a shame. I guess I would like to know wht was Richard saying about edward's dark side :). anyway, having Richard's good mood and prodigality would be interesting too, but be careful about mixing archetypes :). then, how far can you go on abuse? what could puck be brought to do that he does not want to, and out of the 'game' he accepted to play?

I just wonder if Richard will succeed in seducing Puck? Or will Edward have him first?
And it seems that Richard has a softer side of himself... it's a shame he doesn't show it more often! lol
