I dont' know what rock I was hiding under that I didn't see this story before, but luckily I found it! :)

So sad. I can't imagine being traumatized by a parent like Kale had been. And that trauma just doesn't disappear once the parent is dead. Kale needs therapy. Maybe meds. Luckily he has Ryan to help him through.

Awesome short story; you could really make a longer story out of this....
