This is incredible. I loved reading this and I kept coming back and reading it again and again. Phi is quite sweet and nice sounding, while the Queen is quite a dangerous figure. The recent chapter is really quite sad, specially the ending. I do tend to wonder how many people were like Phi, pulled in by the queen and her beauty, then killed when they resisted too much.

So she decide, now the real fun should start. The maid that helped Phi I bet she might have a back story involving the queen. I'm just guessing, but nice chapter. Thanks for posting.

I love this. Not only does it have a great storyline, but it is written quite beautifully. And, the Queen is perfect. In my endless search for Queen stories, this is by far the best.

Hmm. Your characters are crafted well and act very realistic. And, if I may be so bold, is the Queen by any chance, a play on Jadis, the White Witch, from 'Chronicles of Narnia'? Sidja being Phi's nickname for the Queen and it being an anagram of Jadis kinda gave me the idea...

This is such an interesting story and I loved the time period you chose. There's not a lot of stories with this setting, and the few that I have read are acceptable but your surpasses that. It is really good. Hope you update soon.
