Hmm... I would likely say it aloud, then run until she got tired of chasing me. But only if Her Majesty were to try to insult me when I am showing the utmost of kindness to Her. Regarding what I have just read though, I am rather impressed in Her Majesty and Lady Phi. While it is of little surprise that She held her tongue when Lord Averring slightly insulted Phi, then slightly and most likely accidently insulted Her. Lady Phi on the other hand did very well not to drop into her street tones and get angry when Lord Averring insulted her.

Also, a quote for our dear Lord Averring. "Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength."
--Eric Hoffer-- (1902 - 1983)

(The new text is a nice change and it is actually a bit better to my eyes. The new font is fine, and the size used for the story is good. The size for the reviewed reviews is a bit too small. Wonderful job on this chapter. Sidja really does like to torment Phi and it honestly is funny now. But maybe, and this is just and idea, we should have Phi start to resist a little again, and then have another character show up, like maybe a head knight that is female. *just an idea*)

I fucking love you and this story, glad you have time to write. I wanna shake Phi and get her to grasp that submitting won't be the end of her.

I honestlt didn't think that my lust for this story could possibly increase... but youjust had to prove me wrong didn't you?
Don't get me wrong, I love that you did, but you've just made it harder for me to have to deal with the loss when I have to go back by my cousins... as I don't have wireless access, and I couldn't use the internet that they do have for these purposes. (grr)

Sidja (I would love to know what her real name is) is turning out to be so much more of a complex character than she was first made out to be in the beginning and her attachment to Phi and distate for the man with the blue sleeve seem to be at the same levels in their respective extremes that I can't wait to see the altercation that's going to come of it.

I don't know what else to say at the moment except, keep up the quality of work and I hope to see the next chapter soon!

Forever your faithful reader

I wouldn't do well in such a situation, since it's impossible for me to see anything but the obvious differences between royality and street urchins, and those just don't count. That aside, this chapter was... I know there are a few words to discribe it, but my brain fails me at this time. It's wonderful, brillant and covers a lot of interesting information. Sidja is really hard to gauge as a person sometimes. Is she evil and only seeks the suffering of others, or is she good and just like every other human being, with a strong desire to have a companion to be with, or maybe something more that I can't quite figure out. Phi is still just Phi, drifting back and forth from loyal servant or handmaiden to stubborn stuck up young woman.

(Alrighty. That's fine that it's all roughly set in stone. I look forward to seeing where this goes)

I have nothing witty or insightful to say like everyone else, so I'll just say that I adore your writing and this story and I can't wait for the rest.

This entire chapter just completely re-enforces my feelings that Phi is a bit of an idiot. But the ending... chilling, to say in the least. I knew this had happened, but just figured Sidja would let the people go and send them somewhere quiet so they would never breathe a word of this to anyone. But just killing them seems a little harsh and also would have the servants and other people of similar rank questioning what was going on.

The sad thing now is I'm worried less about Phi and more about how Sidja will be bothered if Phi starts acting scared again due to the new information she has received. Incredible chapter and certainly wishing to read more, ASAP.

This was quite a surprise, finding another chapter up already. Phi has redeemed herself slightly in my eyes and Sidja has become more the victim of several misfortunes. If she is telling the truth that is. *she would kill me if she was real and heard me say that though. XD*. It was also nice to learn more about Sidja, to learn that she has to suffer through all the idiot men and like most royality, be concerned over loads of politics.

Also, keep the whole thing broken into three parts. Makes it loads easier to read and not get bored reading line after line of words.

I´m assuming, if I am not mistaken, that the Queen has no "children" of her own, hence the constant courting. She will have to choose if she wishes to carry on the lineage, which means "baby making". How sweet, Phi doesn`t like the thought of Reginald attempting to gain the crown but it seems the throne isn`t just enough for him, once again you hint something. I like him, he appears to be a subversive fellow.

Yet, for a woman such as Sidja to be without man and still possessing the title of "Regina" delivers so much regarding her behavior. She`s malevolant and quite frankly, I would have fainted if she started swinging the blade at me. Poor and poor Phi...

You could say that Sidja intimidates me.

Verily I must say, I am quite smitten with this tome you are tossing to us here. So drawn by it, I am, a review has demanded itself to be written.

First I must congratulate you on the ability to have me checking every day that I possibly can for an update, for that is a feat that is only accomplished by few. The development of your characters have me wanting to deelve deeper into the story, particularly Sidja. The order of your thoughts and the progression of the story is giving me hope that the age of good literature has not yet vacated this world. I look forward to seeing more chapters coming forth.
