oooh no no no no.. I'm so sorry for him. Vas was suposedly in charge for him, so how could he be so careless?!
Val should begin to make it up to Cal by changing the limited and brusque way he interacted with his 'pet' and make more effort in taking good care of him from now onwards. also, I wouldn't mind revenge of some sort agaist those three...
thanks for updating this soon: a really nice surprise :)

I am so seriously mad at Vas right now and want to throttle him. How the heck did these guys get a key to unlock the 'box' Vas was keeping Colan in? I would think he would be the only one with the key and it's his fault for putting the poor kid there in the first place. He should have known something like this would happen and it's all his fault. I hope he feels horrible but knowing him he will blame poor Colan for it by saying he was running away or something and punish him again. If Vasco is the most feared man in the city, why would they have done this? They don't seem afraid of Vasco or they would never had dared taken Colan.
On a happier note, I am glad you will be updating Forgotten too but please don't forget this one.

Well, now I'm torn. I've been hoping you'd update "Forgotten" for quite a while now, but, dear God, a scene like that needs some resolution. So I can't decide which I'm more anxious to read.
I'm tempted to ask whether you'd consider doing some chapters with a different player's POV, just to give us some more information and perspective on the world and its characters. But at the same time, the limited view we have from Colan's eyes works well to keep readers in touch with his character - Colan understands very little about his own situation, so we understand very little. As frustrating as it is to not know more, the story works very well as is.
Thanks for writing; please update soon!

Ah, damn, Vasca's gonna be pissed. I hope he doesn't blame the kid for this too.
