What a great ending to a great story!
It was really sad reading about Robert's dad and what happened between him and Vikki. And his uncles who didn't want anything to do with him. Really sad.
I'm so glad they finally said the "L" word to each other; it meant so much more than if they said it right after sex. Actually I read somewhere on some site, maybe this one, that if you say it right before, during or right after sex, it doesn't count. lol So it was much better they said it before Sam's concert! :)
Kayden, you're a fantastic author and I can't wait to read more from you; which includes "Control", so hurry up with that, wouldya? :)

Wow, this story was good :) I started reading since chapter one, curious about how this story would develop but I have to say you couldn't give it a better ending (specially the smex part... yummy) The nickname Sage matched Sam's character, and I find it a bit hilarious but cute that Robert changed to his nickname when they're in the bedroom. It was good to see Robert struggle to accept somebody else in his life. I also liked how Sam lives his life, doing what he likes, and the amount of instruments he has was a nice touch.
Vikki is like a fag hag, and I say this with a smiling face since she came from someone who didn't know what to do with her gay son to someone who encouraged him and said it was cute to see him talking about Sam :)
Your writing style was very simple but it flowed very naturally with this type of story and I liked how quickly you updated, it's frustating waiting months for the next chapter (although I guess I'm guilty in that aspect...).
I've started reading "Control" only a few days ago and didn't notice it was yours, but I have to say that story is very good as well. Keep up the good work!

Noooo!!! Noiw what am I supposed to read? It's so nice to find something that I like to read on AFF once in awhile - especially something that is updated quickly. Most of the few authors that I like don't update more than once every six months. Sigh. Anyhoo, thanks for the cute story I appreciated it. -DL

Well thank God the made up! I was ready to smack Robert upside his head! I'm glad he finally told Sam what happened to him. At least now if Robert starts withdrawing, he'll know why.
I can't believe Vikki never told her Robert about his dad. And this is the first time Robert's asking about him?

This story has quickly become one of my favorites on AFF! Not only is it extremely well-written (clear, concise, grammatically correct), but the characters themselves are extremely likeable. Robert is so cute (and his initial insecurities and unhappiness are so easy to empathize with); Sam is such a genuinely nice guy; and Vikki is seriously a riot. Really, she takes the prize for the best fictional mother ever.
Chapter 7 was supremely satisfying and hot.

Hehe, thank God Robert showered before he went to Sam's place! lol I just found it odd in your last chapter b/c in all this gay porn I read, guys are ALWAYS taking a shower! They must shower fifty times a day! lol
Vikky was being so nice and motherly! Although not THAT motherly. If she was she would have known that Tynelol(did I spell that right?) does NOTHING for upset stomachs. She would have known that Pepto Bismol is the way to go. Take that every half an hour after you puke and you'll be good to go! hahah
And obviously Sage (not too wise here) was never a mother! You NEVER give someone who's been puking and having stomach pains orange juice! Hahah, the acids alone in the juice would have killed Robert's stomach! Ginger Ale all the way.
And when did Vikky get Sam's number? Didn't Robert think that was odd that his mother had Sam's number?
Anyway, terrific chapter! Yay for Robert being able to take this relationship to the next step! And yay for true mother-son sex talk! lol Can't imagine going into details like that with MY mom! hahah And I'm a girl, so it should be easier. But no, never did that. So kudos to Vikky for being able to talk about these things with Robert.
And p.s. I love Sam! Can you clone him? A straight him? :)

I feel for Robert, I hate those 24 hr flus where you heave up your guts endlessly. Unfortunately, those are the type I seem to catch the most when I get sick. Well, at least he had Sam to take care of him! in more ways than one, heh heh. Thanks for this chapter, it's nice to see someone else on AFF who updates quickly.
