Great chapter; extremely emotional.Lexie finally gets a pass and doesn't have to feel guilty. That must be an amazing feeling. Living in such guilt for so long. He must feel so free.
I hope this double date goes well. I hope Gabriel doesn't bring up anything unpleasant for Lexie.

Omg, I just want to cuddle Lexie. Why does he think it's his fault Johnny killed himself? If he knows why this happened, why hasn't he told Stacia about it sooner? Why hasn't their parents insisted he see a therapist? He needs to talk about this. He's sleeping so much and not eating b/c he's so depressed. Those are two symptoms of depression.
Stacia is nuts if she thinks he's gonna want to go out with someone else. He needs to resolve his feelings for Johnny first and stop blaming himself before he can ever move on. I think Stacia should have approached the whole thing with Gabriel differently. Bryan should have invited him over to just hang out. Then he could meet Lexie and maybe, just maybe Gabriel could talk to him, hang out with him, all superficial shit for awhile. Lexie is never gonna agree to actually go out of the house on a date with someone he doesn't know. She's being too naieve. (I know I spelled it wrong; I'm too lazy to look it up!)
Lexie definitely needs therapy. My heart's breaking for him.

What an awesome start (well, maybe not start since you've written this before), but what a great story so far! I'm intrigued as to why Johnny would do that.
