this has to be one of the most brilliant things i've read on aff. the humor is delicious, carter is adorable, and each porn scene is both satisfyingly sexy and ridiculously laugh-inducing at the sheer absurdity of the situation (that is, getting down and intimate with a stranger in front of other strangers holding lighting, sound, and camera equipment).
anyway, excellent story so far! i really look forward to the next update!

Hey Owl, whatcha been up to?????? I noticed you haven't updated in ALMOST ONE WEEK. Tomorrow will be ONE WEEK, and that is not like you; usually you update a few times a week, if not more.
Is everything ok? Nothing happened during the firework display, did it? Things going ok? Work's ok?
Well, I hope things are good and you're on vacation or something, that's why you're not updating! Although why you wouldn't bring a laptop with you and continue the story while soaking up the rays and working on your tan, is beyond me. Doesn't matter that the sun is blocking the light on your computer and you can't see. You know where the keys are on the keyboard, just type away! lol
But seriously, this is just a little hint, hint, poke, poke that you almost ONE WEEK LATE WITH UPDATES!!!!!!!!! And I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms here.....:)

Oops! Sorry Owl! I don't know why I assumed you were in the states; may b/c the story takes place in the NYC? Idk....
Ok, you don't know how many times I started this chapter yesterday! I must have started it five or six times! I was at this July 4th party, not knowing many people and started reading it on my phone (thank God for the internet on the phones, right? :)) But then I'm interrupted by PEOPLE WANTING TO TALK, DAMN THEM ALL! I'm so bad, I just wanted to get back to my gay porn! Hahha, and now, I finally finish the chapter only to find out, nothing really happened!
Omg, Wilde is STRAIGHT????????? It seemed at the end he was really getting into it, improvising and such, like he was really "feeling" it. Was he "feeling" it too much he decided Carter wasn't working? Did he start to like Carter a wee bit and ran like the wind?
Can't wait to find out in the next chapter! Awesome, awesome story!!!! :)

Don't apologize, I'm glad to know that about Carter, it helps me "cast" him myself. ;) I know how terribly repetitive I am, but I just can't find the right words to express it--this is so much fun and different and Carter is a great character. I hope you're able to keep up the speedy updates, it totally makes my day when I see another chapter is up. :)

Oh my, do I like this story! It's not just the plot, it's the way you write it as well! Definitely a way to keep me on my toes and involved. I'm not sure I can review for all five chapters I have just read (When was this published? Last week?), but know that I enjoyed all of the without a doubt. All this stuff with Ryan Wilde makes me think there will be more than porn between him and Carter, but we'll see in the upcoming chapters. Thanks so much for the speedy updates and fabulous story!

Your writing is so delightfully funny! I absolutely love the characters, well.. except for Ryan maybe? Lol! He's a prick, but maybe there's something 'deeper' going on.. anyway.. can't wait for some more of your awesome writing and amazing sense of humor! ;) (Yes.. Another awesome chapter, oh lord of updates.
Poor Carter, and now he's gotta go to some company party for Ryan. I know he's been naked and having sexy time while being filmed by a room full of strangers, but, given the circumstances, the party seems much more embarrassing task. Wonder if he and Ryan are gonna have another confrontation (fingers crossed XD)
And what is going on with Jake? Suspicious.
Anyway love the story, can't wait for more
