I just found this little gem of yours and I'm smitten! You've started out with some great elements here, zombie/apocalypse stories tend to be especially fun and darkly fascinating. I really like Bastion, he's like a grumpy little kitten; the tougher he tries to appear, the more I want to pet him. And I love that the big, strong, tough-as-nails potential love interest isn't caucasian! Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against white people (m/m of any kind is awesome), its just that the lion's share of characters in these stories (hot male leads or otherwise) are white, and after a while I start to crave variety. You've already made a great start, and he's just icing on the cake.

So, even though its been nearly three years since you've posted, I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope.

I like it. It's different, and I'm curious to see where it'll head. Always been a zombie fanatic myself
