Gunnar violated one of the principal rules of being a good villian
One does not tell a prisoner the "master plan"
and I'm guessing this story to be somewhere in the latter middle ages
as such a relationship would not be discussed but not frowned upon until after cultural contamination due to roman and later catholic influences

thanks for the update! Poor William being abused like that by Gunnar, especailly after Bjorn and William confessed to each other...but I'm glad that Rolf is able to help his friend! And Ivar and the Frenchman must have something up their sleeves....I hope the truth comes out about Gunnar killing Bjorn's brothers.

wow...I'm glad that William was saved...and I was happy to see that Rolf questioned Bjorn just to make sure that he didn't hurt the baker....hmmm I wonder if something is going on between Ivar and Xavier....and I liked how Bjorn and Julie were able to trick the guards.

Poor William. I wish he could have escaped from Gunnar's abuse. I hope old King Magnus does not get himself murdered while Bjorn is out of the castle. The story is so good. I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Awwww, Rolf is a good friend. Magnus, on the other hand has some bigoted father issues. He may have good intentions, but killing the love of your son's life is not the way to go to get your son to become a good king. Loving the fast updates, and the great story. Looking forward to more!

CLIFFHANGER!!! So bad! What is going to happen?! I hope Gunnar rots in hell, and that noone else will die or get hurt. I'm so emotionally involved with this story! Please update!
