Aww, I want a chinchilla, they are so cute. I have a feeling white paw is going to really adore something like Ryan.

Wow!! I love the story, hope you keep writing it!! The way that you write is kool because you keep switching back and forth between the leon and human.
One thing I know about the male lions, the only one they headbutt or rub against is accualy there brothers. If two brothers take over a pride, the two males will rub each other.
Hope you write more, and looking forward to it!!

Oh, I love your story! I wonder how the pride will receive Ryan... Fast Runner doesn't seem too pleased but White Paw (who is generally more 'mothering') seems more welcoming. Does that mean that Ryan could be accepted more easily by females (particularly with his unwillingly female behaviour)? Unless they see him as a rival for Black Mane's affections...
I hope that once the fear of being eaten will leave him, Ryan will have a more scientific attitude to his staying with Leons until a search party is sent for him. After all, the scientist in him should be thrilled to have an opportunity to observe Leons this closely, particularly when they seem more advanced than they thought!
I wondered how the Leons found sugar and salt in the wild to prepare their meat (that they don't eat raw too), though, and why Black Mane didn't recognise a human being, even though his pride seem to recognise human aspects in themselves. Shouldn't they also be used to the scientists coming by to observe them, or is this particular pride one of the more mysterious and hidden ones?
Also, there's still the problem of the person who attacked Ryan! If they are poachers, they are a danger to the Leons and Ryan...
