Read this a few years ago, still enjoyed it.
It does feel a bit like all the deaths and the uncooperation with the scientists has gone without repercussions though.
The people controlling the ship were guarded and with them gone and Xevos on the loose, it seems like the shit should be hitting the fan.
Please continue with this, I've never been a fan of informal narratives, but I could read this forever.

Wow! I haven't been hooked on a story like this for a LONG time.
The storyline is amazing, the characters are wonderful and most of the dialogue is fantastic.
However, Ergo's character is great for the most part, even the sarcasm isn't too bad, but he seems to change from a mature, protective man, to a stroppy teenager too often, especially when mentioning Verago.
(It's difficult to explain, the first few chapters have a lot of moments where the language becomes a little too informal. And constantly negatively describing the villains makes them a little too 2D, as if they've evil just for the sake of being evil.)
But this seems to have lessened in the later chapters, and their reasons are becoming more clear so it doesn't ruin the story. (Just though I ought to mention it.
Please continue this wonderful story, and if you have a mailing list, could you add me at: afireinside37@hotmail.com
Thanks :)

3 questions: 1. Why can't Ergo remove the collar? 2. Why didn't he type in the codes before putting the collar on Drehle? Why hasn't he noticed his new abilities, not only with Drehle, but with the ship?

How can a story about aliens be so immensely emotional and touching? It's beautiful, quite unlike anything I have ever read before. I would love to read more of this!

wow can't believe i just found this
one of the sexiest, most xeno stories
i have ever read.
can't wait to read more.
So now he shall have two little munchkins.
somehow it sounds so warm.
it seems so many of the crew are soulless
maybe controlled by drugs in the water
i am not sure.
this story is like... a drug
i need another fix already
