Yay, plot development!
Also, I might have just completely missed or misinterpreted something, but how did Kline attach the neck strap to Max if they were cuffed together? I'm just going to tell myself that they uncuffed themselves when Max was being put into his bondage chair (that may or may not ever be used for sexy bondage. I'm going with 'not').
Looking forward to the next chapter :)

Oh dear, someone's in serious trouble, doesn't look good at all. Torture chair, locked in a cell with no food and water. Still intrigued, he says he didn't do it so why did he run?? Looking forward to the next chapter!

I think it's very well written, very fascinating, with a dark dynamic that draws you in and characters that breathe on the page even in just the beginning. Scary, and I feel for Max yet I'm looking forward to seeing more of the story and what happens to him.

I love the writing. Realistic, dramatic but not excessively so which makes it all the more gripping. I'm scared for Max and I want to see what happens to him, want to learn more about his past and who Kline and Lowry are. Can't wait for more!
