Seems to me this is the second time I've found and read this story but it isn't any further along.
I like the story so far. I think you've done a good job of building interest and suspense. I'm very curious to find
out exactly what's going on. Why is the vampire after him? What was he promised and by whom?
If not mates, then what is the relationship? Will either one kill the other?
