Is Ahta actually Una? His description is very close to Una's, though his actions are a little un-Una like and, at the same time, Una like with the extreme cleansiness, the hat and the cane. I have to wonder if the recently named Ahtat is Durth suffering from memory loss or a spell of some sort, or Ra (Raya). If it's not Ra I am hoping to see him kill his mothers mate. That guy deserves it and so much more.
I love your stories. Partners was the first original fiction I read on aff and it was good enough for me to spend the majority of a weekend reading it. I have read everything you've written since. Thank you for sharing your work.
