I'd love to spew a cheesy line about the body remembering what the brain doesn't but I'm too busy fanning myself after reading the latest update. I would claim the end of the latest chapter is a tease... But that would be a lie unless we're talking about the bigger picture and Janus and the Agency.
What will Ryan uncover? What else will happen in the next chapter? Looking forward to the next update! :)

I can't even fathom why this story is not popular here on AFF. the plot is astounding and the other stories totally pale in comparison. I wish more people would take the time to read this...they will MIND BLOWN.

finally had time to sit down and read :D
wow that was some pretty good work there boyd, getting your things done, no one the wiser...8)
i can't wait to see what ivan's been up to. i wonder why he chose that same building to get caught. why not pretend to sneak for files at the agency itself? much more closer to home man.
if sin gets his memories back i hope it doesn't mess him up!
my one critique of this recent update was that when boyd was looking through his tablet thing at people's backgrounds, it sort of read a little dry and forced (like forcing us to read this stuff about these people...i actually skimmed those areas). a briefer summary of what boyd is reading (instead of paragraph long descriptions that read almost like a wiki) might make that portion cleaner an seem like less of a drag. i know you guys like giving us background info but i think a lot of that part in that scene could've been cut out.
but otherwise everything else was awesome. i enjoy reading about boyd's little missions. it's like he's his own agency or something 8) he is just too cool man. too cool. i like how emilio is being like....a mole for both sides...a double agent. it makes him interesting.

Saw an update of the completed revised Evenfall book 1, and decided to try the story. One week, two books, interlude, and side stories (including ‘That moment in the rubble’) later, am now up to date with Fade: book 3, chapter 22 (final update).
I am sure I cannot say anything that has not been said before, but as a new reader, I want to say that this is one heck of an epic tale so far!
For me, the intensity of the story is in the detail; each character is a multi-layered personality of complexities whose foibles, beliefs, and values only become apparent as the books progress. How you manage to keep each personality in order, never overlapping, while developing each one at a believable rate relative of experiences and events, is phenomenal.
Favourite character (and there are many), has to be Emilio. His personality seems to illicit all manner of responses from everyone around him irrespective of their position, and though he is vulgar, narcissistic, has overt incestuous tendencies – he is fundamentally a logical thinker (with a huge spattering of activist).
Best conversations with Emilio so far belong to Doug, Owen, Boyd, and Harriet (chap. 21 too hilarious!) and many, if not all of the conversations with Carhart.
Also loving Owen, and his almost Tourette like digressions of conversation, sporadic interjections, analogies. Witty and astute prattling and almost urban idioms are ridiculously funny (he really needs his own show).
******************************
Uncle Riley (chap.18), interesting turn of events - cannot wait to find out his backstory.
Feel that Emilio (chap. 21) is playing his own game and both sides; maybe his ultimate goal is to overthrow the organisation or cause chaos?
Hope Boyd manages to get to Hsin and find out what is going on (chap22). However, he will need to tread carefully, as Hsin’s anger sparked (chapt.17) when he found out Boyd could not be trusted.
Ivan, believe he will be subject to termination after his capture (chap.22), but I am sure they will ‘talk’ to him first!
Truly cannot wait until the next chapter/s!!!

Wow. Can't tell you how happy i was to see you uopdated and to see that many chapters was a real treat! I Really liked seeing Adam again and the mentions of Gordon (and Chance) I can't help but hope for a continuation of After Midnight or at least more details about Adam and Gordon in Fade :)
I find the Dynamics between Boyd and Emilo really interesting and even sometimes sweet in an odd sort of way. Really feel for Boyd reading this Installment and I'm on the edge of my seat t'ill his neaxt mee with Sin.
P.S I LOVE Owen and Ryan!!
Please update soon? You guys are awesome!

Five chapters, good God! That was a really amazing read. Although disappointed at the beginning we wouldn't see any Danny/Sin action, these chapters quickly made me forget that and immersed me in the crazy politics surrounding the Agency and the shit that goes down. I'm dyiiing to know who the mole is and while I have my candidates, I'm not sure about them and it's mostly based on what Boyd himself thinks but time will tell. I loved how this tied into After Midnight a bit with mentioning Gordon and Adam being around a bit just when Boyd was snooping around on Damien so I am convinced and hope he will show up because what could be more wonderful than an awkward family reunion with him, Sin and Emilio? I just get the giggles imagining it.
The Carhart chapter I loved to bits, being the diehard Emilio/Carhart shipper I am and I'm really glad we got canon back-up for something I always noticed about Carhart being very strange and sadist about his power over Emilio's vulnerabilities. But he's still a character that continues to puzzle me because I don't get why he only gets super into Emilio when they're about to have sex, which is something he himself asks himself but I'm just gonna keep on going with my "he's really closeted" theory for now because I want them to be happy...in their own way. And of course, that tidbit of Emilio at the end was brilliant because it's always fun to see Emilio acting like himself and generally being a dick but I wonder about how jealous he is about the whole Vivienne and Carhart thing? Of course, we as readers don't know if those two continue to have sex or not but another thing that time will tell. And how Emilio knows that Zach was basically ordered to reconcile with him.
And finally, answers to what happened to Sin! I imagined it had to be some sort of stasis thing, like in the Aliens movies, but much less effective hahaha. I wonder if Boyd will be able to trigger Sin's memories back and if doing so, how much it will potentially damage Sin because I can't imagine he'll walk out unscathed if the whole HM thing is pretty much experimental. Also I loved Owen's participation in the little mission and Emilio helping out but I can't wait to find out how Emilio will react when he finds out his son is alive.
This review was really long but you guys deserved it for such a good batch of chapters and so much plot and character advancement. I know I didn't touch much on a lot of stuff but a lot happened (like Boyd's uncle, I was hoping he'd be a nice guy but he's clearly in some weird shit and the whole issue that Cedrick was snooping around the Agency before he died was thrilling because I still sustain he's alive or something.)
Anyway, hope to see more chapters because I just loved these last five chappies so much!

Thank you for the new exciting chapters! You left us with a lot of ponder on. What is going on with Boyd's uncle who suddenly came back from the dead, what is happening to make Dany call Boyd and what is on those files they managed to steal before Ivan's suicide mission. Very fast paced these chapters you added. I'm kinda waiting for something big to happen soon. Maybe poor Ivan was right after all in his predictions about the Agency. Carhart and Emilio are still an explosive together but I am glad Emilio (always my favorite character) is fully aware of what is going on. Maybe Carhart feels the need to push Emilio's buttons the wrong way because he feels like it's the only thing he can still control.
And hello again Adam and Gordon! It was good to hear about them again! I'll consider this a bit of a sequel to AM. Sp after a few years they're still going strong, in spite of Gordon's bitching and Adam's mysteries.
