Awesome that you guys are back, it's been a long wait! I'm assuming this Danny has something to do with Sin, or no? I kinda kept myself emotionally detached while reading because I refuse to believe Sin is gone for good. I would've bawled like a baby if his death was a certainty, though. Must be some really weird stuff behind Sin's disappearance and I can't wait to find out what it is. With the developments in tha Agency this is gonna be quite a ride, I'm sure!

Well, what can I say... I love this story, I follow it on and off since near the beginning. I loved your writing, I loved your characters and even more important, I still love them now after all this time. And that's not true for all the stories I have read and loved. But, I'm frightened of one thing with your lasts texts. I see more and more angst and, while I see why there is with the situation the characters are in, I can't stop thinking that maybe you'll fall into the trap of the "too much angst". I'm afraid because lots of writers I loved have fallen into this trap and I really, really hope this won't happen to you !! So, I'll continue to read, hopping that this is a temporary peak of angst and that the level will reduce to it's original point on one point of Fade. Love you guys ! Hope you'll continue to write this fantastic story ! And forgive me if there's some bad english in this review because it's not my first language ;)

Still, I'm truly horrified.
I feel like this is happening to members of my own family. haha! I probably feel this intensely about this because the story is still in motion, and I really love it so much.
*deep breath* Well, predictably I expected the next part of the book to be about Boyd's mission, and I was speculating about the possibilities...but now I guess we'll see what you had in mind instead, it's not an uncommon twist- presuming he's alive... and what, is he Danny, somehow brainwashed or something, would that be too easy ;)?
I'm eagerly anticipating to see what happens next xxx

Thank you so much for the update!! Love your creative geniuses - what a can of worms you've opened! Opening this series with a bang. I can't believe Sin is gone, and hope they've got him sequestered in Europe or some location fixing him up with those science experiments (they have got to think it would be a waste to terminate him) and then Boyd uncovers this diabolical plot. (They never approved of them together anyway.) Rekindles passion, and they kiss and make up for lost time. Seriously has to happen. Or Sin has actually escaped the Agency and takes Boyd with him - fading into the sunset. Looking forward to more... Mos def!

Noooo and I unlike everybody dont put it passed ya to kill off him.xD now there were many times when he dun GOOF'D!!! But he must of down right fucked the FUCK UP badly this time to warrant the death penalty! Damn his shoulda sat back and chilled! But NOOOOOOO! Sin in usually Sin manner had to go off the back end and fuck it ALL up! Got dammit ya got me crying again! But holy shit can't I wait for the update! xD the life has been sucked out of everybody! I bet people woulda been dancing over his grave if admin wasn't checking them off like a shopping list! And I glad emilio was gonna brake his foot up in that Marshall's ass! Go Emi!!! I better do something about dat writer block cuz after this epic ass start I will haunt ya if this story goes unfinished!but don't go rushing it either! I rather have long but well worth it waits rather than speedy crappy updates! Love ya lots! <3

I'm crying and I don't even know why. Hsin can't be gone. He just can't! I first thought that maybe Emilio had busted him out or something but... this is insane. I don't even know if I can read the series without Sin... I just don't know. Feels like someone punched a hole into my chest. I can't believe this. I don't WANT to believe this. Please, please, PLEASE let him be alive!! PLEASE!

...I don't want to be rude or anything but I think I'm going to go cry...and then wait two weeks until I cry over this again. I'm interested to see where the prologue is going but I'm thinking along the lines of 'way to blow out the reader's heart' with the first two chapters. Possibly your own as well. But I can't say I hate it. And I'm attached enough to your characters to cry so that has to say something about your ability to write. I really shouldn't be so T-T with the track record of this story, but I am, so good job. T-T (I also have 1001 scenarios running through my head but I think after reading the rest of this series I should just keep coming back to see what you two ACTUALLY do. I'm also sorry this isn't very constructive...)

WTF!!!!! Love you guys but Sin better not be dead for real or I'm gonna have to stop reading. The story's dead without him. So glad you're back though. And don't worry, I'll keep reading to find cause I gotta know what's really going on.

OMG! The suspense! I've been waiting for this for so long; I love ICoS! I've been a long time reader and occasional reviewer but I love this story too much to continue to be a 'lurker'. I promise a review for every update from now on, lol.
The beginning of Fade just about broke my heart. Is Sin really dead? I cant believe it - poor Boyd. I'm pretty depressed about that but also super excited about updates. I can't wait to read more about the new admin., Sin's replacement, Carhart's disconnect, Boyd's coping and this new closeness between Kassian and Ryan. So many unanswered questions that I'm practically shaking with anticipation. I can't wait to read more about my favourite characters! I'm so tired and wish my mind would work so I could leave a better review because I freakin love your story!!! -Lynz

Wow! Way to start Fade with a bang! You surely dropped the biggest surprise over us with Sin's termination. Without Sin the story would lose more than half its appeal, so I imagine Sin will make a reappearance at some point. I was thinking at the end of the last book, that being dead was the only way to escape the Agency and both of our heroes would have to manage to play dead at some point. Separately, if they wanted to be more believable.

Anyway, there's no way back. You either keep Sin dead, which would be a huge disappointment to all the fans, or you resurrect him, which would be nice, but also a bit like Bobby Ewing's come back.

The Agency does seem even more evil than usual now. It is clear that Boyd's mission was a set up, one of those missions they invent when they want to get rid of certain agents.

On a very personal note, the Japanese assassin girl sounds like a manga character, which is kind of a big pet peeve for me, but I love the story too much to care about that.

Looking forward to reading more - REALLY looking forward to more! I'm totally addicted to ICOS!!!
