I miss Sin.

I'm gonna say some more about chapters 7-9 at some point.

I got 400 papers to grade and two hours to do it.... then I see that Fade updated. Looks like I'm not getting any work done today!

Loved the chapters. I kinds figured that Boyd would try to substitute Emilio for Hsin but it was still surprising! Keep up the fantastic work!

I just spent the entire week reading everything from the beginning. IT'S FRIGGIN' AMAZING. Brilliant. Wow. <3333 I'm glad that there wasn't any Publisher Interference involved in the creation of this awesome epic because the sheer length, including the less relevant to the main plot content, was all so satisfying. Apart from the length, I loved...

1) The world building and universe. The Agency is like a scarier Hogwarts with sekrit agents instead of wizards!! Well, not really. But it's fun and engrossing in the same way. ;)
2) The characters. Even the minor characters are interesting and have real depth to them. Unsurprisingly, my favorite is Boyd and I like Sin almost just as much.
3) The agent training and missions. Exciting, suspenseful, kickass fun.
4) The introspection and self-reflection. I enjoyed reading the characters' thought processes and witnessing them change and grow as people.
5) The development of Sin and Boyd's relationship.
6) Very hot sex. :9
7) The drama. All the emotional craziness.
8) That all the story arcs were great.

I also loved that even if this story wasn't m/m (the slash was what motivated me to start reading this), I would have loved it anyway just as an awesome adventure story with complex character development and a solidly entertaining plot.

Anyways, I just felt like leaving a general review for the story. Thanks for writing! <3

I am holding out hope Sin is still alive... But I very much want to see Emilio and Boyd bring the Agency's leadership crashing down.

Thanks! These were just great chapters - loved how you wove the flashbacks into the current. And set it up for the future. Boyd's fabulous and tough in his own way. Looking forward to him unraveling this mystery - in his short window before the next assignment. Sin is so blessed to have someone so tenacious! Annoying that Boyd's mum hasn't even pinged him, after she set him up for that mission - really shows how cold she is! Thanks for the character development!

Sin is not dead, he can't be. I refuse to believe it. And anyway, what a better way to get out of the Agency's grip than being supposedly terminated? Great chapter anyway, the description of Boyd's pain was very real, I could "touch" the misery. Is he going back to his "robot" persona? I guess he could become a "perfect" agent if he doesn't care about anything on top of his level 10 training.

Here's a theory: all the agents gone missing were freed by someone, but who could it be? But if they were, it would suck if they then had to pay it off by working for them, thus again not having their freedom.

I'll never get enough of this story

I just want to say, that you made me cry and that was fucking hot. I have never been so weirdly turned off and turned on at the same time. That...rape scene, was intense. There's no other way to describe it. It was intense to see just a snapshot of what Boyd's recent life has been like. I've read, reread,and rereread all your stories. So I feel like I've come to know your characters so very well; they're so rounded and fleshed out, and there's nothing stereotypical about them. And it's really heartbreaking when I read that Boyd, (BOYD!) got fucked over(literally and figuratively), and he's only ever known three lovers, Lou, Sin, and Kassain. But also, I think that when Sin and Boyd DO get together in the end (because Sin BETTER BE ALIVE!!! If not, you guys better figure out some deus ex machina here, and GET HIM ALIVE. )they'd be quite suited for one another. Two broken people. But now, rather than Boyd being the supportive pillar in the relationship, Sin must help keep Boyd sane. Speaking of, is Sin Danny? like under disguise or something...? I think Boyd should be kidnapped during a mission and meet Sin and live happily ever after. :3 And I hate the new Carhart, but I do like Bex, as odd as that is...
