Hi, I started reading your stories a few moths ago (it seems in great timing :) I actually got to Sonny first so I started with After Midnight-loved it btw! really hope to read more of Gordon and Adam and it was really cool re-reding it after ICoS) and then of course had to head to your site to read the entire iCoS (this remins me of chamber of secrets lol). Just had to say this is a brilliant story! You got me very invested in these characters in a short while so just wanted to thank you for sharing this story with us and express how I can't wait to read more!
P.S Please update soon- Ths suspense with Sin and Boyd right now is killing me!

I've missed your updates sooo much. I was going to send you a note to see if you were alright, but I realized I didn't really know how to reach you both. This is the most amazing story on AFF - ever - for the quality of writing, the plot, the characterization, and the world you've created. This is another amazing two chapters - Carhart action all the way (coloring him in delightful ways, making all the action meaningful) - and prolonging the aching absence of Sin after some tantalizing whiffs. And how they all wrestle with change, deceit and the darkening of days. Thank you for all the effort to weave this enthralling story - and for sharing your passion.

My heart went to angsty Boyd. I am glad he decided to fight for Sin, even if Daniel might be against the idea. It's the first time he became sure the Agency decided Sin's amnesiac retirement - to be honest, I thought it was one person in the Agency and not an executive decision or something.
Also, I loved the new biographic details about Carhart. He was always Captain America, Mr. Good Guy, annoyingly so. Now he has become more human. Even the abuse and assault on Emilio (which I already loved) made him more... normal. As I was reading how he and Vivienne became sexually involved I was thinking "this kind of experience will send him screaming back to Emilio". I was close, LOL.
I can't wait for more. The story gets more captivating with each new chapter!

I was ecstatic to see this was updated! To begin, Boyd's sadness/confusion as how to proceed with the Danny persona was well done, although I felt his inner musings dragged on a bit too much but then again, this is Boyd who second guesses himself twenty times over. I'm glad he came to the decision to stake out and investigate rather than let Sin live his supposedly normal civilian life. Judging from the prologue, I feel Sin!Danny may be leading a normal life expect he is suffering mentally from the memory erasing process that took place.
I thought Vivienne and Carhart would sleep together and I wasn't wrong. Not sure how I feel because I love Emilio/Carhart but I absolutely love this side of Vivienne we've never seen before and her friendship with Carhart is a definite plus.
And on to that scene with Emilio. Oh boy. What Carhart did was wrong but I think Emilio normalizes it because he's always been abused (sexually especially) since he was a child so his reaction to this is not of horror, but more like it happens all the time. Plus add Emilio's twisted personality and logic, and ta-da! That being said, I'm worried about these two. Mostly because I can't tell where Carhart confessed to Emilio how he felt because he wanted to or because of the mission. Either way, I feel this has become more complicated because Carhart can rationalize that he did what he did cause the mission and it was necessary to rope/manipulate Emilio into it. And Emilio will not be happy when he finds out. But it was great to see them interacting again and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

lol poor carhart. poor emilio. i bet emi is going to go beserk when he learns of the deception (if he learns...)
at first i was thinking maybe the mole was emilio since you guys mentioned the mole was arrogant. XD
now i don't know. yikes at that hate sex thing. those two are crazy.
anyway i enjoyed these chapters.
carhart and viv make an okay couple. actually i think i'm more in the viv and carhart team than the carhart and emilio team. emilio needs a better man :D
lol
great chapter!

Nothing I can say will define how much I like and appreciate this story. When everything ties up together consistently since the plot of the first book, it makes it that much more intriguing about what could become down the road. Because of the sheer size of the plot of this story, I find it difficult to even comment on a specific part of the story, much less the greater theme. Although there are some predictions that I've made that could happen later in the story, it wouldn't compare to the actual thrill of reading what you guys have planned for this universe in writing. So far in to 11 chapters of Fade, I was once again drawn into the angst and agony experienced by the main characters. Boyd's reaction to the death of Sin was so realistic, especially considering what he went through in the mission before. It was with a weird sense of satisfaction that I see Boyd reel with grief, most likely because I've always been semi frustrated/mildly disliked his detached and overly-analytical personality. As with Boyd's mission as a sex slave, it was slightly distasteful for me read about his experiences there. Even though he may have accomplished his mission well as a valentine, I much prefer missions Boyd was in that didn’t involve sexual behaviour. Failure or not, Boyd was better to appreciate because of his intelligence rather than in situations where they take away his mind using drugs. I always personally believe in sexual/mental monogamy when in a relationship, and Boyd’s mission put a blow on that (sexual aspect) even when I understood the powerlessness of the situation, and how he was not in control of his life/behaviour. In turn, I hate the agency more to put Boyd in that position. Boyd’s anger was starkly realistic. At this point, his distrust towards the agency/employees almost parallels the distrust shown by Sin in the past, and the burning of Sin’s name on to his body evoked a sadistically satiating feeling in me. I anticipate the series of actions that Boyd will eventually take against the Agency and other enemies.
Further into the plot, I can see a hodge-podge of things that are already occurring that can define future major events. Mostly about the after effects of Boyd’s most recent mission, the loss and possible recovery of Sin’s memory, what actually happened to Sin that caused his to lose/oppress his past memories, how Boyd will deal with the most recent revelation and what will become of the hated agency and Janus. I really hope that you will not abandon this story at this point and hope that you know there are people who anticipate any updates. Finally, just on a curious note, what exactly is Sin’s Chinese character?

I am officially a huge fan! I was so upset when I couldn't read the next chapter of Fade because there was none! haha I guess I had gotten used to be able to keep reading through the series. Anyway I hope you update soon! I want to find out more about Danny/Hsin! I nearly died of angst when Boyd realized Sin didn't remember him!

OMG i JUST finished reading ALL the books! Holidays are made for week long marathons of awesome stories, I love you guys!
But the emotional strain was SSOOO bad! Sin n Boyd are my favourite and then you killed him! I actually cried! I never cry over movies or books! So I was so happy when it tuned out Danny is Sin! Ah the relief!
Not to mention all the sides of Kassain, Emilio, Ryan, Carhart (/Vivienne! I like!), Owen! I love them all! (except Ivan, hate him).
OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADD MORE CHAPTERS!!! Holiday's almost over and I NEED more! I've got such bad withdrawals I'm re-reading all my favourite chaps over and over again!
