Jeez, both Ash and Max are pretty socially awkward!

Ash doesn't like to knock on Max's door only, so he can "peep", yeah, kinda creepy in a creeper/stalkerish way.

Hmm mysterious ash n his multiple issues. I'm suprized max can keep up. N how is it a relationship after one date, a family dinner n a broken nose?!
Anyway, I like dialogue! Keep it going; I like their banter, they complement each other in that sens.

just wanted to say I'm enjoying reading your story :) I had actually started reading 'A New Perspective' first but then started reading yours independently so thanks for the heads up that it can be reviewed now w/o signing in. Oh and Burger King actually does have a veggie burger unlike other fast food places actually (being a college kid makes one wayyy to acquainted with fast food menus!) :P. Anyways, I like your characters, especially Jake for some reason (adorable) and it's nice to see Max working things out. And yeah Ash is still more of a huge mystery and his actions/behavior does seem contradictory at times but I guess you'll explain. Look forward to more :)

Aww poor Ash he's got some issues too which is good because then he isn't to perfect for Max. Haha Max that had to hurt. Update soon please!!

So much better. Good for Max he is growing as a person and sometimes we need to take a few steps backward in order to go forward. I absolutely love Knarly and Jake's friendship they really complement each other perfectly. And Ash he is so sweet. Great chapter. Can't wait till next update!!

Ok, on to the review: yeah, I did NOT like the last chapter either! I mean I did, I didn't like the way it ended! So good for Max is stapling that check for sleazy Dean's door!

I love Karly, I've said this before! I love the way he helped Max out when Max was being all emo and shit! The apt. was cleaned, the trash was out, he cooked; he was great! And he used his real name in the note! lol

Jake and Karly are getting along famously; I think that's really great too! I especially love the part where Knarly wants to invite "Denise and Charles" to dinner! He's already adopting them!

I'm also glad there wasn't any awkwardness between Max and Ash.

Loved the end, so cute on ash's part. I didn't get why he was quite so angry it seemed, after all thr date went really well, untill the end, and it wasn't even that big of a thing...
Anyway, I'm not an arty kinda person, so was suprized to see that I liked their art talk during thedate, I felt a little more educated by the end of their date lol
keep up the good work, and on a side note why not co-write with ur boyfriend? I love ur style and would volunteer but my sched is fucked plus
the time zone difference would drive us to suicide. Or something perhaps a little less dramatic.
