Darn i thought there was more but half of the story was just a duplication XD
After some thought I really hope JC gets his revenge on Jake. Jake doesn't deserve to even touch JC, even if he were drunk that time.
Cole and Jake are just messed up overall.
JC should take his brother's advice :)
Have a new hot man enter town and sweep JC off his feet. lol.
Cole may say he loves JC, but he does not seem loyal to JC, and loyalty is one of the support beams for love.

The chapter repeats itself. In the middle JC asks " When did he become an adult?" Then the nextr sentence goes back to the beginning of the chapter where JC Cole and Graham are in the kitchen at the start of the chapter.

this is all conspiracy theory BUT, (humor me)
i wonder if jake was getting WORRIED that jc was onto his activities(supposedly robbing schemes).
a)jake has maybe/MOST likely spotted jc watching him out his bedroom window at nights.
b)jake maybe/MORE THAN likely knew that he had been followed that one time in the woods by jc.
WHAT IF... jake let cole come back, BUT ONLY if he did a little recon work?! (lol)
maybe cole is actually in love with jc, and dove on the chance to come back and be with jc... MEANWHILE, hes HAS to find out if jc is going to blow the top off jakes crook business.
SO, hes no longer friends with jc, so he BEFRIENDS jcs best friend! gabe! thinking maybe he can get some info out of gabe.
gabe does know that jc is suspicious of jake ristons moving business. he thinks its rediculous of course, and even hid jcs research once.
AND NOW that gabe and cole are friends, he might have told cole, as a joke, that jc suspected his dad was a criminal. *hardy har har
...there was that one time that they were all drunk together, and jc was past out for some time, and cole also took gabe home that night. he had countless opportunities to FISH for info.
OR maybe coles there to be a distraction. to take jc's focus off jake and put it on cole?
lol, but i have no idea how any of this ties into
a) the rape
b) grahms involvement and working with jake all of a sudden.
maybe jake has some kind of black mail on grahm? and thats why grahms back all of a sudden too? theyre all watching to see if jc goes to the cops or something........ lol. i make jake sound spooky, but that one brother in the carnallis was a spooky criminal SO i know youre not shy of making jake an actual bad guy.
now im wondering... did grahm really throw jcs underwear away?!! blood and semen, thats EVIDENCE baby! possible black mail to hold over jake or cole?
oh, and you never answered my question. like, WHOSE THE DADDY?!!!

i hope this doesnt sound rude or invasive, but i always like reading the 'author comments' in chapters, just to say hi and stuff. you never do any of that. well, you should! i acutally thought you were female, but youre actually a dude.
anyways, i wonder if jc is gonna start taking sleeping pills again...
and im curiuos if momma bear will know that somethings up with her son/her sons hurting...
which brings me to totally looking forward to the wedding. oh boy, best original female characters ive read in a long time. wouldnt it be adorable if jc walked her down the aisle?

I saw the note you left in a review and was wondering why you don't at least leave author notes under your author page so readers can check there. I don't think moderators can say anything about that since it wouldn't be in chapters. Also, you could post a link for answers to your reviews in the forum at the end of each chapter and readers can leave responses to you there. I've seen other others do it.

In regards to author notes, I found this information listed under AFF's content guidelines and thought you might find it helpful.

Hey Passhenette1! I kinda agree with that reviewer about leaving a link to the review responses in the forum an post the link at the end of each chapter. Also, I heard if you don't exceed the 600 word limit in "author notes" at the beginning or end of each chapter, then you can still leave short responses there. I tell you this so you can take your review down. Don't want this story taken down. :D

Oh man, poor JC. How humiliating it must have been for him to have his brother see him like that. Luckily Graham seems to have grown up a bit; it's good b/c JC really needs him now.
How betrayed he must feel. Cole said he loved him. That's how he shows it? He just lets his father man-handle JC? His father didn't seem to be so "asleep". Was it all a set-up, or did Jake start out sleeping, but then woke up somewhere along the way and only Cole knew it?
Poor JC.

Excellent chapter. I hope Graham is not gone to beat the crap out of Cole. I agree with JC that it would be impossible to trust Cole anymore. I can't wait to see the next chapter. Not to mention when JC sees Jake again.
