Hi again! There's something I need to bring to ur attention. In chapter 21(?), JC thinks "Blake Givens" looks like adude in late 20s but Blake is in his late 20s NOW so in that picture, he had to have been younger... I'm guessing really mid 20s since him 'n Cole moved in bout 5 years ago around 7th grade. Just wanted to bring this up!

Yeah update! I'm not sure I'm trusting what Joel's mom is saying about Jake and Cole is true. I feel like there is more to the picture that we have not seen yet. I'm also a bit disappointed that Graham kissing Joel (the end of the last chapter) wasn't addressed in this one. It's like it didn't happen yet it was a BIG deal. Joel ran away said he wasn't going to let it happen again than whammy, it's graduation time. So I'm a bit confused that there was no dialogue (inner or verbal between them) regarding this. I'm feeling so sad for Cole right now. It's obvious he's fallen hard for Joel. To me, Joel is still a confused young man who has yet to deal with what happened with Jake. I'm not sure where his feelings stand on Jake and Cole. This story certainly has me in a tizzy and wanting more! Every chapter is like peeling a layer off an onion. Eventually we will get to the core and discover what the hell is really going on!

Oh happiness! I am dying for Graham to get his hands on JC. And what better time than in the dark during a power outage. That whole episode of them slipping and sliding outside and searching through Jakes house was nerve wracking and hilarious at the same time. I loved it. The mystery of Jake and Cole just went to a whole new level. Two brothers on the run. I pray that JC and Graham don't say anything to that creepy lady without talking to Jake and Cole. The only question this brings up is when Cole left when he was younger, I wonder where he went to stay if he was hiding from his real mother. I can't wait to find out more. The story gets better with each chapter.

The mother is not so laidback... I hope Cole and his brother will return...

that was a hoot to read. about the grahm thing, im surprised but ok with it. the past two chapters have really taken me by surprise. secret identities and now it seems grahm is carrying a torch for jc.

Good for JC! Better to set your sights on someone other than your brother. Maybe Brian, now that Cole's temporarily out of the picture...ha, I'm so fickle! I still like Cole. It does look like him and Jake have gone into hiding. They must have been found out. Shit and they left their cells at home. I wonder if this was what Cole wanted to tell JC. Although he did agree to go to the party, right? So that's kinda weird that they would just up and leave, unless he was never planning to go to the party to begin with. Hmmmm. And it didn't really seem like JC and Graham's mom knew anything about what was going on next door.

And I can't believe JC's mother spanked him as a child! Shame on her....

One more thing Passh: in defense of Jersey people; not all Jersey girls are like those insipid Jersey Shore girls, lol.

Anyway, can't wait for more! :) Awesome job as always!

Awesome update! The plot thickens. I get the feeling that Graham and Joel's mom knows more than she is letting on. And Graham putting the moves on Joel!! Wow! Can't wait for the next chapter!

p.s. Just finished the Carnalli series. OMG! I loved it. I do hope you continue it. I'm dying to know if Hanley is alive or not!!!
