I like Exit's optimism. It makes even bad things seem like a great adventure. I hope he'll like what the other echoback want to show him but I have a feeling it won't be that easy. Barney seems like someone "on a mission" and I'm pretty sure it doesn't make him a better listener.

No time to read in the week right now, but that meant I got to read two chapters in a row, which was great! It will be amazing to find out more about Echobacks! You write characters amazingly well, it feels like I know them, even the new ones, though I actually know very few facts...

Holy early update, does your Sunday start at the same time mine does? I wasn't really expecting an update when I checked, and yet here it is! ^__^x
So Exit is only beginning to realize that he's going to be confronted with a lot more Echoback culture than ever before, and everyone will expect *something* of him, when really all he wants is to live his life the way it works.
Lovely chapter, very much looking forward to the next one though!

Another chapter, another chapter~ *dances*
Liked this one a lot, especially since Exit got to meet (ex-)Father Barnaby, but also because of the last scene with Vio. =)
Exit never did know that it was more than a playful insult until he met Tallis and other echobacks, and Vio hardly means it in an offensive way... and yet it is, and everyone else is so beautifully angry. I like Vio a lot, by the way.

Phew, at least they are not in any immideate danger... I can see this being difficult for Exit, he mus feel sympathy for the cause, after all, if not for the method...

I wonder if Exit is about to meet someone from his past? maybe someone named Jack? I had no idea that Kremmen was am echoback! But looking back at the story it makes sense, and works well with the story. Im looking forward to the next chapter!
