ugh. I hate that Barney thinks he can take the place of a father figure. He isn't even the right species! I wish Tallis could pop out of no where. :(

I wonder what is the echobacks' stance on homosexuality. Seeing how Llando is so secretive about the whole thing, it can't be too accepting. I find it cute so far, the way he doesn't seem to be too experimented. All the people Exit has been with are always men with strong personalities and enough experience to know what they want.
Barney frighten me, I hope he will let Exit go and won't make trouble when he realize he is a city boy through and through. Sampson was nice in this chapter. People who like children can't be all bad even if they are rather marginal.
It's really different to the first adventures with the pirates but I really enjoy it so far.

It sounds like the village generally doesn't look too kindly on same sex relationships (which would make sense, seeing how they're a small community that needs children to survive), at least that would explain Llando's initial reaction. Or maybe being really curious about these things is an Echoback thing? XD
