I love this story so much! I haven't checked up on it in a while- I come back to THREE more chapters. That made me ridiculously happy!! And after reading one after the other, I am even more in love with this fic! The tension between Casey and Mason is delicious, because you know that Mason so wants Casey!
The description gave you the hint of how the first few chapters would go; Casey leaving, then coming back & the like. I'm not usually into dom/sub fics, including Alphas- but I really am digging this fantastic story of yours! There isn't TOO much "I AM ALPHA, PHEAR ME" going on, lol. You can tell Mason was worried about Casey and truly cares about him, even if he is being even more commanding than before.
OH and the collar bit is pretty hot. I like that it's a symbol, it has meaning, but again; not in a distasteful, over-the-top dom way. I can handle a few spelling errors, your writing is more than decent. It's enjoyable and above average work compared to some other stuff online. Please, please keep the addicting, interesting and fabulous updates coming!!

The game Casey is playing with the puma guard could get a bit dangerous... particularly with Mason and the fact the guard belongs to a suspicious pack.
So, how do shifters find their lifemates? Do they just choose them or they have some instincts involved to find them? Because all the submissive instincts Casey has only for Mason could be a hint... And when is Casey going to acknowledge his cat's feelings for Mason? And the pack, for that matter? It's obvious his cat is happy with being in the pack, so it would be very disappointing if he left again after he got Shelby back.
Also, why is Mason so stubborn about his feelings? Shouldn't he start showing Casey hints of what he feels for him instead of restraining himself all the time? Otherwise he might soon crack under pressure and end up jumping - and possibly traumatising - him...
I like Casey's perspective in the story, but it's nice to have some insights into others' - particularly Mason's - perspectives too. Will there be more of those?

WTF!!!!!!!! CAsy is straight?!!!!! that totally ruined the story for me. My God, and i had sooo liked it until I find Casey saying "best girlfriend ever" *retches* gross!

Poor Casey and being treated so poorly. I hope Mason calms down a bit. Collaring a degrading Casey isn't going to gain him anything. I think Casey needs to figure out how to handle his submissive urges better too though. It'll be nice to see them grow as characters. great job!

wow, i didn't expect to see an update but i checked anyway, and there it was! i just read it and am late for college but it was SO worth it. LOVELOVELOVELOVE this story, i'm so glad i found it. i can't wait till the next chapter! woo! i better hurry off to college now

Just discovered this brIlliant story, and stayed up reading all the chapters well past my bedtime, lol. I am very distinctly pleased that this story's set in my neck of the woods! I love all the little mentions of landmarks and the like, makes me wonder why I haven't heard anything about the attacks, lol. Seriously speaking, this is shaping up to be one of the best stories I've read in a long time! Your shifter dynamics are fascinating, and your characters are very compelling. I have to say, I am a little disappointed at Casey's continued obliviousness to Mason's feelings, but on the other hand, I fear Mason's obsession will drive them apart. I really want Casey to get a clue, and for the two of them to get it together. I do hope Casey comes clean before Mason finds out, otherwise it could be disastrous. Loving this story so much! Keep up the great job!

BTW i really hope shelby dies or leaves the story or something soon or mason finds out about her and rips her to shreads mwuhahaha! i hate her lol. i am now going to re-read all the chapters up so far cause it's so good :)
