I'm so glad you updated! I've been checking every couple of days to see if you have. It's good to see Annette standing up for herself and not backing down - he put her through so much I think he deserves a good whack on the head with her broomstick. Lord Derrick just doesn't seem to learn. He says he wants to make amends but obviously she doesn't want him there. If truly wanted to make things up to her he would stay somewhere else and give her some space, visiting her instead. I hope she really gives him a hard time. Great update, I can't wait for more!

oh man its been a long time since ive last read this story! couldn't find it forever and finally came across it! I'm glad its been updated and there is more character information on Lottie and her marriage. and man, i can't wait for the next chapter!

Ive really liked this arc of Lottie's wedding with Herald. It's given our dear girl a view into a real loving relationship. I loved the way you wrote this chapter, so smooth and sweet. The imagery on the roses and thorns was also great. Im assuming from those words that our dear girl's reunion with our sexy Lord won't necessarily be the happiest one T_T
We know from the last time we saw Lord Derick that he seems to really love Annette. He is just an idiot ans doesn't know how to kindly show his feelings. I hope Annette with these experiences will able to fight back and find a common ground with Lord Derick. Or tell him to fuck off and find for herself a man that really treats her well
Again, a beautiful story ;;-;; so grand and so well writen. Please update as soon as you can, I'll be eagerly waiting for more to come *-*

Poor Annette, she needs someone who will treat her well. I hope that Derrick doesn't force her away like he did before. He should grovel at her feet after what he has done. I'm going to be checking every day for the next update, I can't wait to read what happens when they finally meet again!

Annette's awareness of 'others' appears to be blossoming. A great build-up to the reunion with an insight into how the heroine thinks, what she feels and inevitably her experiences to unfold in future. Once again, thank you for taking the time to remain true to this wonderful story. I eagerly await the next chapter.

I just love the way you set up her naiveté. It's quite wonderful. She is such a well-balanced character. But how could you leave us with such a cliffhanger?! I look forward to the next update!

OH MY GOD! I love this story so much and I'm so happy you've updated! Are we going to see the long-awaited reunion between Annette and Derek? This story is so fantastic, and I love that you're not afraid to keep things dark and intense. Annette is such a real character -- not a Mary Sue at all. I love that she's smart and sensitive. Yay!!! An update at last! It was well worth the wait! This chapter was marvelous. I really enjoy seeing how Annette is growing as a character, she is so independent and free-spirited and really discovering herself :) and her self worth! I am delighted with the ending of the chapter, at LAST the reunion we have been waiting for!!!
