Hello and welcome to AFF ^_^
Well, I saw your fic yesterday and started reading it and finished the 14 chapters this morning at my work! :P Really I couldn't stop myself, I just had to go on and see what happen next! and then all of sudden it come to an end and I was like: "ohhhh, nooooooooooooo!!!!! , where is the rest??????" Really, you gave us 14 chapters all of a sudden and leave us hanging there! :P I feel like crying! I just can't stop thinking about what would happen next! If S is going to love D at last?! How? Now that D is in heat, is it possible for the story to go to the mperg way? (not that I mind, I actually enjoy the good ones :P ) ... so many questions ...
So here I am begging you: please please please ..... could you please update soon? (puppy eyes begging)

Wow. Just wow. I thought this would be just some cliche little story, but you totally surprised me! I fell in love with Dakota very fast, and he's just so adorable!

I like how their relationship is slowly evolving, though I admit the speed is a bit frustrating. Siruis being super bull-headed is as maddening as Dakota forgetting that regardless of his size and situation, he's still male.
It's interesting how the season is affecting Dakota... I can't help but wonder what this will mean. It'd be good to also find out more about the wolves Dakota occasionally sees. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I just read all fourteen chapters and this story definitely pulls at the heartstrings! Ugh, I felt/still feel terrible for Dakota. All the anger the whole tribe has for him is completely misplaced and grief can make one do things that are completely out of character...but for a whole village to allow someone, even when the village itself is grieving, to be treated like that is heart breaking. It's getting better, but the realization that they're all being completely irrational would be good for Dakota's sake.
I'm very interested about the wolves...it seems that Dakota is the only one who has encounters with them. I'm looking forward to finding out if that is true or not. I'm also very curious as to how Dakota's dad is taking his absence and if he cares at all...
