I liked the premise of this story, but reading it it seems to be romanticising abuse too much for my liking. I understand that it's fiction and a fantasy story, but in order to pull off a plot based around a romantic relationship I think both of the main characters should be likable overall. Unfortunately, Sirius doesn't have any 'redeeming' qualities to help the reader understand or like him. His behavior and the murdered mate and child explanation seem a bit two-dimensional and overdone. It doesn't explain his abusive behavior at all in my eyes. His acceptance of Dakota as his mate also seemed a bit too sudden. I did like Dakota's character though. I would have loved to see him plot his revenge/escape from Sirius, then settle down with a more complex, mature mate. I wasn't sure whether he was supposed to have Stockholm syndrome, but I felt the way he delt with the abuse was also over simplistic. Overall good writing! This is just one opinion and is meant to be constructive :3

Well, I missed your story sooo much that I read it again, for I don't ... N times?! lol Really, you came back and just upload one chapter and went away! Didn't you think of your poor poor readers? :D That they are dying to see what gonna happen next to Dakota and Sirius? Is Dakota going to get pregnant after the heat? What would Sirius do? You are cruel!!! (lol kidding) But honestly, please do update your story, it's a pity! It's such a beautiful story that I can't get enough of ...

So pretty pleaseeeee, update it for a poor soul ... that is me! :P

PS2: Hmmm I don't know if I am happy or not about the story not being mperg?! Somehow I like the idea of S having a whole family again, with D! But well, you are the master of this universe! :D
