Aww and here I thought they were going to kiss and make up. It's kind of refreshing umm...people having a real fight about stupid stuff and not so stupid stuff and they just kind of find space instead of the I'm so sorry I love (even if they just started dating more or less) you , need you ain't ever gonna let you go, lets have sex moment. Real people take time to reflect and work things out in their own head before they go about trying to fix things. Hell the characters aren't even sure about the relationship yet, that's interesting. I like how the characters are kind of even in personality, there's no one is better then thou art here.

Jesu, I love this story. I love all your stories, actually. I swear, I've head Art Critism twenty times. But let us focus on this one, shall we?

Okay, so as someone who consumes trashy slash romance books like a boss, I have of course come across the werewolf mating business. I have found smell to be a very consistent, positive factor in these types of stories. Ajax. So that's what's up. *totally mentally called this privately* *even though it hasn't been confirmed yet, but is confident in conclusion*

I must say, Eli's the best werewolf I've ever read. Ever. I've always thought of werewolves being more... rugged instead of the very polished, semi-conflicted beings I stumble upon. He seems very down with his bad self. 'Cept when it comes to Eli. AND I HAVE A THEORY, and it goes as such (we are now picturing Eli as a neaderthal)- he is lacking a cave to drag Eli into. He feels that he does not have a big enough club to bash over Ajax's head in order to grab him to said cave, even though this has already been proven false if we use club as a metaphor for... well. Not enough stored meat for the winter, not enough furs, ect. All this makes him rather touchy, in true male human form. So, when the humanity is taken from his brain, BAM, back to protecting Jack from the other eviiiil supernatural forces.

Okay, back to straight up werewolf. Obviously, this is not one of those stories where it's mates-at-first-sight, although Eli probably has some sort of outrageous possessive streak running through him. Poor boy doesn't realize he cannot escapte this feeling by fleeing. And poor Jack just has to deal with the asshole.

And now my creative theorizing juice has run out. I am pretty sure that I didn't make a whole lot of sense, but oh well. I really love this story and shall await the next chapter.

OH, or maybe Eli does know and he's just in denial! Interesting... Alright. Seriously. Done. <3

Ch. 9: This is very funny:

"You think you're all safe in your shallow SF lifestyle…but it's going to happen to you too, mister. One minute it's all casual hand jobs and tequila shots at the club and then the next thing you know you're making small talk with his mom about her Wedgwood china collection. Pure torture man."

I totally laughed out loud on the above piece of hilarity!

Also, Wolf boy needs to chill his ass a bit. It's ok if someone cares enough to ask questions. Obviously, he wants to be with him more than just for a piece of ass (where he can get anywhere) or he wouldn't have broke through his window while in wolf form.

Awesome chapter. Looking forward to more!

Ajax is finally able to et out his grief. Looks like Ajax and Eli's argument pushed them apart again - but I did like how Eli in his wolf form sought out Ajax...

AHH!! This angst is wonderful yet soo cruel! :( I just want those two to be together already. I love seeing them interact together. Poor Ajax. :( He has too much to deal with! Loved the chapter, can't wait for the next update!! :)

You're right, they are so beautiful and emotionally awkward together. :(

Aww aww Ajax at the end... can't blame him, the guy's life kind of sucks right now. He needs some support in the form of a mohawked werewolf.

(8) As if Jack didn't already have enough to deal with now he basically has spies stalking after him and who knows what to think of this society at this point. On the one hand they sound rather forbidding and on the other they seem like a government office with all their forms. Although I did like Archie in a bumbling, babbling way and I'd like him even more if he actually did something useful for Jack, we'll just have to wait and see how that goes.

Nice update and yet still no Eli, I wonder how long he's going to hold out before he shows back up (assuming he does of course). Can't wait for the next chapter there's so many different factors coming into play, I can't wait to see who ends up being helpful and who is maybe less so.

This Van Helsing Society is incredibly interesting. I love the setup of that whole group; especially the steam-punky kind of style. Well done! This story's got layers, eh? But what I really wonder is what Eli's up to. I miss him
