I just discovered your wonderful story and you now have a new fan!
I hope this is one you plan on finishing. Eli and Jack are both awesome.
You have done a good job building suspense, hinting at deeper things but not giving them away.
I can't wait to find out what happens and how they save Jack from the curse. And I really hope that this has a happy ending and the boys end up living happily ever after.
It would be really cool to see Jack actually become a powerful Mage in a sequel.

Yay for another chapter! Particularly when the previous one finished on such an intense note. Glad you're back for more!
I loved the chapter too, particularly because of the both sweet and rough relationship between Ajax and Eli, but also because we finally met Jericho. The latter's relationship with Tobias really is kind of heartbreaking too. I hope they can be back together someday.
Eli and Ajax are just too great together, though. And they seem to get closer and closer... and sexier together (is that even possible?). The chapter's ending was really sweet too. I hope Ajax's wish will come true.
Also, this sentence made me laugh for some reason: "Just because my sister is a ghost does not automatically make her creepy! That's so fucking prejudiced." Aww, Ajax. :) But his family does seem to have an awful lot of (dark) secrets...
I look forward to knowing more about the plans of that interesting group of magical people working together to help Ajax with his curse... And I love the fact that they are all pretty ambiguous characters with their own motives to help, by the way. ;)

(14) I'm still trying to figure out if having these guys on your side is a good thing. Kat strikes me as someone who could be useful but do you want to trust her with your life. Jericho does seem to be someone you want to work with but he's so mysterious, it kind of makes you wonder what he's hiding. At least you feel his intentions are good and besides everyone in this world probably has secrets and big ones too. And who knows now that Jericho knows Jack maybe he'll want to help and may actually be able to give him some good advice. I think at this point Jack would be happy even just to get some information, I know I'm looking forward to finding out more :)
I was so happy to get to see Jack and Eli again, especially after how the last chapter left of. It was rather dramatic but then there's always some kind of excitement with these two.^^ I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter, fingers crossed that we won't have to wait too long things just keep getting more interesting :)

Oh wow! This story is great! I really love how both guys play off each other it, it is really adorable really in a twisted way. I am also happy for the Greek mythology/legends references I lurves it! I can't wait for the next chapter!

YOU made my day, with this new chapter of Haunted City! I can't wait for the next one already! It's all so fascinating and fun and hot - and yay, we got to see more magical creatures (Lucky's is my new favourite place in the story)! The mystery is getting thicker too. I really want to know who Toby's master is and what spell he wants and what for, and what it has to do with Ajax's curse (if it's even related). Also, I wonder if there isn't something more to Jericho and Toby's relationship - particularly because they both seem touchy about it, and it looks like Toby left Jericho for an abusive master. I actually feel bad for him because I don't think he's a (completely) bad guy - he did seem genuinely worried about Ajax in the bar (plus, I love cats - but this doesn't have anything to do with the story at all). Actually, I'd love to know more about the bonds between a familiar and their master. It seems to be a relationship based on power, but I wonder what each side gains from it exactly and how much the familiar can be controlled by their master (particularly when said familiar is as powerful as Toby seems to be).
Also, Ajax being the horny dog (no pun intended) in the relationship is hilarious in a way - and I looove his relationship with Eli! (I can't say it enough) Rough bodyguard Eli (for his witch boyfriend) is to die for. And thank you for the dorky-researcher-in-the-wrong-place-Ajax moment too - I love that side of him!
