Aww, that last bit was bittersweet. Yes he meant them n still apparently does, but with all the emotions n feelings n bond he shared with dustin, he still managed to walk away. N if seeing ur loved one on a hospital bed knockin on deaths door, still made him walk away, what other possible scenario would make him stay? He seems to stick for the good, n run for the bad. I'm not sure he loved him at all. I'm team Nik on this one, I completely understand why he didn't tell him.
I found what Dustin said, when jack confessed that he loves him, very believable, if they did sleep together it mean different things to both of them, although maybe they should anyway, coz it might trigger Dustins memory, and who cares what their reasoning is behind it all, essentially they want to sleep together; dustin because it's a fantasy, jack because it's 'love' give them (read us) what they want!!
Emma is unreal. Literally.

Erm, I know it was 5000 words an all, but can we please have more? :D

Wow, I always find myself crying reading these chapters! The vows Jack recited were really beautiful. I loved his conversation with Emma; she is really something; what a great person.

I also loved Dustin's conversation with his dad. Don is really great and everything he said made sense. I hope he eventually does go and talk to Jack. Oh, I noticed a typo during that conversation: bear is beer. You kept switching between bear and beer. lol

I've missed to review some chapters! Buuut I have read them all and enjoyed them immensely! One thing I'm still a bit confused about that I think you are going to elaborate anyways: Why did Jack leave and not even come back? I mean I get that he was immature and childish and it was one of those things that just happened without a clear cut reason...but it's still shocking. Or is it meant to be like that--it's not supposed to make perfect sense and it makes everything that much more worse or complicated XD? I mean it still goes with the story because even Dustin doesn't seem to get it when everyone tells him how great he and Jack were great together....well the plot is still thickening and I'm enjoying the ride :)

Poor Jack; I feel so bad for him now. Dustin is so right; he's not the same guy Jack was in love with. He doesn't even know this new Dustin. And Dustin doesn't know Jack. I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is for Jack to have Dustin so close, but not close at all. Did that make sense? lol

Maybe they can start off slow and Jack can tone down the "I love you"'s and see what happens. I mean, something's gotta be there for Dustin; he was glad that Jack broke up w/his fiancee.
