Well, he can certainly take Jack with him! I think Jack would go wherever Dustin went as long as they could be together.

Of course leaving everything you've known and all your family is really scary. Is Dustin up for that? Leaving his whole support system behind?

Great chapter. I noticed a few errors though: life's should be lives, them self's should be themselves, shelf's should be shelves.

Can't wait to find out what Dustin decided! :)

I'm surprised that Nikey wasn't at his father's talking about Grant.

I feel so bad for Grant. Having been there, I know exactly how he's feeling and you got that desperate, lethargic feeling down pat. Great job with the chapter! :)

kay, i just had to stop and say what an amazing story this is. i read grant's story first because i don't really like reading wip for fear they'll become incompletes but after reading grant, i became so engaged in everything that i just had to see what happens to dustin. i'm very glad i did. i've just finished reading chapter 12 and i really like how emma reacted to dustin's reappearance in jack's life. jack described her as his strength and emma was strong enough to be the one to let jack go. i just loved that so much. :) i look forward to seeing the end of the story (and sorry that this might be my only review >.>;, i don't say much haha, but know that i love every chapter >.< even if i feel heartbroken for the characters sometimes)

thanks for the quick updates!! I've got to say I am becoming cautiously hopeful of Dustin remembering! And whoaa Grant is kind of spiraling out of control; I'm eager to see what happens next with him and Nik (if anything at all)--I am loving the drama/tension of their situation!

Wow, I had a few chapters to catch up on! I can't believe Nikey! Really, getting drunk is no excuse; you still know deep down what you're doing. No matter how upset he was about playing or not playing, it didn't give him the right to screw around on Grant. One of the three people in his life that love him unconditionally.

And poor Grant; being betrayed like that. Of course he wants to forgive Nikey and have him back, but that's gonna take some time. Every time Grant sees Nikey, he's reminded of that betrayal. He will certainly need time to sort through his feelings. I desperately hope that they can find their way back to each other.

I wonder if Dustin heard the guys playing his "song", if he'd remember anything at all about writing it? And wasn't it a major breakthrough for him to remember a sketchbook he used back in 2001? Before the accident? I would think that would be a major breakthrough.

Awesome few chapters, as usual! I'll be waiting with bated breath for the next chapter! lol :)

loving the grant and nikey drama!!! poor Grant but I'm really loving this kinda vulnerable side to him--like even though he's all cool and collected he can't always act like that XD Ohhh and I really like this whole thing with Jack only being in love with a 'ghost' and Dustin isn't really there...it builds tension up nicely :) Great work and THANKS SO MUCH for the speedy update; really you are awesome XD

Oh man, I am so angry at Nikey and Dustin right now. How can Dustin go and 'help' grant when he bascially did the same thing with Jack, leaving him to wake up alone, he took advantage. They definately are brothers. I find it hard to like any of them at the moment, I was warming up to Nikey but now...

Millions of to Grant and Jack. I really hope Grant doesn't forgive him that easy or that soon. And I hope Jack gives Dustin a piece of his mind. Also I think Grant and Jack need each other (as friends of course).

Ohhh this chapter was super sad... Ugh, I'm super mad at Nikey :( I mean, I cant even remember what he was mad about in the first place... Because Grant wanted him to play, right? That's ridiculous. What a dummy. Poor, sweet Grant! I sure do like Grant though, he's really an honest character and Nikey is going to need to make it up to him, big time!

As for Dustin and Jack... I feel sorry for Jack, and I'm so frustrated with Dustin. He totally gave Jack the wrong idea... I think he realizes that. Then again, he's slowly coming to the conclusion that Jack is really what he wants, eh? Maybe? A little bit?

The past two chapters were my favourite. I love ur writing style, that sex scene was so artistically done, I applauded u. U made it sound hit even though u didn't actually go into it properly, if that makes sence.
Niky!! No!! I knew, soon as he walked in that he cheated on poor grant! I noticed he didn't tell him who he slept with, is it someone grant knows?
I love grant. His emotions r protrayed sooo beautifully. Loved that he said he loved him so much, tears runnin down his face, but couldn't forgive him. N my heart went out to him (yes I realise he's fictional) when he saw Nik huggin his pillow n again started crying! Poor grant!!
I like their coupling more that d/j!

I feel for u in regards to reviews. U sorta write n write n write, n then get a review or two and it's like, if no ones following should I carry on with this? It's off putting at first, but now I write for those who are following me, coz I feel it's like stickin two fingers at them if I abandon my stories. I hope u feel the same n not abandon ANY of ur stories. Hint hint 'friends' hint hint ;)

I love hate you kinda. Love that you've been updating fast but not to sure I like how you left off change.25. But love the story and the characters. Jack is my favorite.
