All I can hope for is that Brennan never gives up hope of escape or lose his spirit with everything he is being subject to. Although, I think he is slowly losing the battle without realizing it and soon he may find himself being the puppet they want because he thinks all is lost and the only way for any release of the torment he is being put through is unfortunately complying with them.

I wonder if it's Al dropping by to check on Brenna before he heads out to work, but not sure, so I hope you find time to update another chapter really soon and spare me the pain of waiting another month.

I am glad your chapters are long that kind of makes up for the waiting.

Ahhhh! You must be a sadist, not because of what you're writing about with Brennan but because you make us poor readers wait to find out what happens! Haha. Couldn't you surprise us and update, I don't know, tomorrow? No? Aw, worth a try. Welllll, wow, this chapter was horrifying and amazing. I think we've had hints to a more... I don't want to say sympathetic, that's not the right word, but less-aggressive side of Al before. And I'm not convinced he's suddenly a nice guy, and I still think he's violent and dangerous. It just seems that Phil is more of the psychological torment, kink and torture guy, whereas Al responds with quick instant beatings. Phil draws it out. In a lot of ways that makes Phil scarier. It's hard to know exactly what Al was thinking here, we only saw tiny hints that he might've asked Phil to cool it down and wasn't able to look at Brennan after. It's definitely one thing to beat someone up, but I can see how it would make someone uncomfortable to watch them be "tortured" even so? They're both bad guys though, ugh! And making Brennan sleep outside... his punishment isn't over yet? Geez, now he's going to have a cold in addition to his other injuries. I'm kind of hoping for next chapter to be more "taking care of Brennan", half because Brennan needs it if he's going to survive and half because that's part of how Stockholm Syndrome develops. You start thinking your captors are being nice to you. Cannot wait to see whose footsteps are coming.... yeah, I totally check pretty much daily for updates. I'm a bit obsessed with this story, and so I really hope you don't lose your passion for writing it!

I don't know what's going on with Phil and Al but now I am kind of confused. Geeze, Brennan, I feel so bad for you.

I love them and they leave me anxiously waiting for the next chapter even though I am afraid to find out what happens to Brennan in the morning.

Hmm. I have to weigh in with your previous reviewers. I was sort of used to this story posting on a monthly basis, but you then expressed an interest in posting more often. Like, even more frequently than every three weeks!

That would be wonderful and marvelous. Like the rest of your avid fanbase, I'm checking your story a couple of times a day for updates. . It's brilliant.

Just a friendly reminder that it's been 14 days and counting since last update. I checked your author page and it mentioned chapter 9 was being written a/o the 24th of July. I know you must be really busy so will try and be a litte more patient and wait for new chapter, but I am really dieing here waiting to find out what kind of dastardly punishment plan Phil and Al have in store for Brennan.

If you have a mailing list for updates, I want to be added to it so I don't miss anything when you have the time to eventually get back to it. If you don't, that's ok too and I will continue to keep an eye on your author page for new updates but there hasn't been one since 07/24.

Just wondering how chapter 9 is coming along...... I hope you update soon because waiting over another month to find out what happens to Brennan next will literally kill me. Please don't forget your readers!!!!

Oh, oh, I think Brennan is in TROUBLE and I can't wait to find out what kind of toys the boys use on him. He was a naughty boy and needs to be punished but maybe they can make it kind of pleasureable for him too.

This chapter had my heart racing. I love the dream/flashback in the beginning - the eager passion between Brennon and Zach was such a contrast to his current situation, and I thought the little bits of dialogue that came from his captors ("You're so hot" "Lift your hips") was a brilliant and chilling touch. What makes this story so great is the descriptive detail, things like the smell of snow and coffee, the track on the floor of the barn, the adirondack chairs. They make you feel like you're there. Of course, that's a scary thing, especially now! I can't wait to find out what happens, this is very exciting. Thank you for writing.
