Just checking back in to see if there are any new updates because I'm really hoping for a happy ending, but the outlook for this story is pretty grim for getting finished. I guess I will check back later.

I know you got married, graduated and started a new job but please continue this story. It's been a long 9 months almost a year now since you last updated. I think all your followers would love you to come back soon. I know you are busy so don't want to pressure you but I am in as much pain now as Brennan was while living with his captors.

Waiting in the Throes is one of the best and hardest stories I have ever read! It is a rough, sometimes almost unbearable ride but it is an exceptional story and you should think about publishing it one day as a hard copy book! It is dark, sad, but at the same time so deep and it doesn't let you off the hook at any point. The characters are well developed and you really feel form Brennan. One thing I really liked was the fact that you never went into the I-finally-love-my-kidnapper thing but that Brennan always fought to escape and for his own sanity. His despair was therefore one of the heaviest things to read. And you also wrote some convincing villains we can clearly hate. Although I was wondering how the two can be so affectionate with each other but not towards another human being. You explored the twisted depths of the human soul very well.
But I also hope very much that nothing of what you describe has happened to you or people yoi love but that instead you just have a hell of an imagination!
I hope you can update and will finish this!!! It is a gem in the genre and I almost check every day for a new chapter ;).

I miss updates for this. I would love to see more of Brennan's recovery. I hope you get a chance to work on his story again soon.
