Oh gosh I can't wait for the new chapter, I keep checking back like every half hour to see if the chapter is out :D

Well, the month of December is as good as over and you still haven't come through like you promised. I really was anticipating reading at least two new chapters before 2012 but guess that ain't gonna happen.

I´ve been reading your story since chapter one. And I have to say it´s so great, the atmosphere, the characters, I love the darkness it has.
Hope you write many many chapters. You always make my day when I see an update from yours.
And I have to say that even if English is not my mother toungue language...you make me learn some words, and I really practice my english with you.
So I have to tell you..thanks for sharing your story with us. I love to read good writers.

I am disappointed that you haven't posted more updates as mentioned in this message since it's a huge downer.

Chapter 13 is up, finally! Thank you all for your patience! Hopefully, this month I can reward you all with more than one update since as of Monday I am free for the rest of the semester.

I am embaressed to say that I tried to log in to leave a signed-in review but forgot my blasted password, so angry with myself.

Anyway, I don't think I reviewed the newest chapter (posted on 12/11/11) yet so here it is.

I like how Jason is trying to stick up for Brennan and they are becoming friends/companions due to their circumstances. I flinched when Phil branded him and almost felt the pain Brennan was feeling. I was wondering too why didn't one of the nurses (or doctor) at the hospital Richard took Jason to after he stepped into the trap not notify social services or something to report what happened? He had been on the news I am sure and it was still fresh news so why didn't someone at the hospital take notice. That's scarey to think people could get away with things like that in this day and age.

I read the new note in your tumblr too, if you want to know how many people are actually still reading Waiting in the Throes, then look at the number of hits/ratings and reviews your story has. I congratulate you for a job well done and for achieving such a devoted fanbase.

My heartfelt thanks to you for taking the time to write such a thrilling story and sharing it with us. I am in for the long haul to the end. Just please never abandon or discontinue because I will be so sad and disappointed.

I was just checking in to see how you were coming along with the new updates you said you might reward us with this month. Well, I guess you are busy with your family and preparing for the Holiday season which is fine with me because it will give me something to look forward to when you eventually get to it and I bet it will be awesome and well worth the wait!

My heart really goes out to poor Jason and all the horrible things Richard has said and done to him. I really like Jason so please don't let him die either by Richard's hand or by any other way. I closed my eyes when I got to the part where they were branding Brennan and had to take a deep calming breath telling myself, it's just a story, it's not really happening, these are not real people just characters you have made up but poop Richard, Phil and Al really scare the hell out of me. I saw your note under author page about possibly rewarding us with more than one update in December since you are free for the rest of the semester. I hope that holds true and will be stalking this story every day just to be sure I don't miss them.

I forgot to add that I would love to see Jason and Brennan finally get revenge on their torturers' by somehow capturing and holding them as sex slaves and giving Richard, Phil and Al a taste of their own sick medicine. I think I would enjoy that very much and also have Brennan give it to Phil with the screwdriver up his you know what.

The whole branding part of chapter really freaked me out. I felt my own self trembling just like Brennan was and poor Jason almost being choked to death by that bastard Richard. I am praying that before the story ends Richard, as well as Phil and Al, pay the ultimate price for what they have done to these two boys. I believe justice will be served for these horrible men and that the boys will finally be reunited with their family and loved ones.

(13) I'm still going to review all your chapters some just get so dark I have to take a break ya know. So does this mean he has been branded all the way are did they stop in the middle of the branding? I kind of got confused, but al las maybe I'm just an idiot who might of missed a line or two. My glasses are broken so its hard to read right now.

Anyways Awesome chapter as always, I cried for Jason when he told Brennan about the bar trap and at least Brennan wasn't locked in the barn for days and days in the very beggining....... but jeesh, am I getting Stolkholm sydrome or something...There is no excuse for those men's behaviours even if they were 'nicer' in some ways then Richard.

Thinking about that iron made me feel kind of sick though and I think before I review anymore I'll take another break, but I'm always looking out for this story. And I hope that he does escape soon, but don't rush the story if reviewers want you to. It won't do any justice, and I've hated reading stories that beggining and then have like a six year skip or something. Your story is perfectly paced. Terrifying and suspensful and a little nueasiating too and I mean no offence theres just a lot of terrible things that happen to Brennan. I think that your an excellent writer in the fact that your story jumps to life, so much I want to just run to the house and save Brennnan. and now.... Jason too.

I thought it was sick how Phil could get pleasure in showing Brennan that screwdriver, what a sick twisted man, and I'm almost sure if Al wasn't there he'd be doing a lot of more twisted stuff to Brennan.

Anyways I'll loook for another update. Thanks so much for sticking with this story, I hope you continue to do so, and I'll be reading it until the end
