Ok, well, this chapter was certainly more tame than usual. Oh, my gosh, what is Richard trying to do to Jason, kill him so he can find someone younger?! I think Jason has to be the one to escape first before Richard poisions him to death for sure. I have to give him credit for at least trying but too bad it didn't work and Richard isn't lieing in a morgue somewhere. I can't get over how they talk together like Jason and Brennan are nobodies but they are the ones who are not human beings. If only Jason could be the one to get away. But if he does and someone finds him he may be too sick with the posion to let someone know about Brennan. At least, for a while until he feels better but who know what they would do to Brennan in the meantime. It's good to know that they boys haven't given up hope of getting away. As usual, awesome and gut wrenching chapter.

Ahhh, you updated just in time! :P Going to Bangkok tomorrow for a week and will not have Internet, so stoked that I got to read this literally the day before I leave!

So wow, Richard is loaded. I figured he was pretty well off, it's no surprise. But man, I wonder what his job is to be making enough to afford all of that. And Jason - poor guy. I guess the poison was the best chance he'd had in a long time for an escape, and I feel like Brennan gave him a little spark to actively try for freedom again. But now Rich is punishing him by poisoning some of his food? I can't help but wonder if he actually is getting sick of Jason and wants to get rid of him. Not that I thought particularly highly of Al before, don't get me wrong, but Al was somewhat involved in Jason's poisoning as punishment? Ugh. Or was it that Al was only trying to talk through with Richard ways to help Jason survive? It's really difficult to say, but a part of me really wants to think that Al is not so low as to be comfortable with Richard murdering Jason, but who knows, he's already this far. And Phil, I don't know if he's even remotely redeemable (as much as I enjoy reading his scenes, ha) but I'm still hoping his sadism is mostly sexual and he's not actually committed to killing his victims. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he was, but I'd still be a little disappointed in him. I don't know why I'm so interested in seeing these terrible people having limits to their cruelty, my own brand of fictional Stockholm, I guess. lol

Also, Phil's comment that Al should know how damage from double penetration heals? Ohhhh? Do tell. :P

It was actually weirdly comical, Phil bringing the wrong keys. I mean, not a great set up for a good joke but still darkly amusing seeing Phil and Al bicker a little about the handcuff keys. Richard is such a dick, though. His "nice" moments just make me want to kick him in the jaw even more, what a douchebag. I don't know what Phil and Al see in him. Not that Phil and Al aren't douchebags, too, but if I were them I wouldn't trust Richard as far as I could punch him.

One question, though. I think in this chapter Brennan comments that Al is not a morning sex person. But in the chapter of Phil and Al's argument, Brennan notices that he and Al didn't have sex that morning, implying that they had sex every morning. Maybe I remembered it wrong!

Time to wrap this up. It´s just about pointless cruelty now, and not going anywhere. It´s run i´ts course. Don´t think i´ll be reading till it´s complete if even then...

I know that Brennan will escape, but I fear for Jason. Poor, poor boy...

I too am still confused by Al's different types of personalities and kind of don't know what you meant about him giving Richard advice about Jason. But, I think he was trying to help Rich by telling him what to give Jason to vomit up the cleaner stuff or whatever it was Rich gave to Jason as payback for what he did. Another thing that is kind of confusing me is that if both Brennan and Jason are somewhat crippled; Jason by the bear trap and Brennan by the hot iron, how can either of them make a run for it? They wouldn't get far and only get caught again. I think things are not looking up for the boys and it looks like Phil will be making a movie but what kind I am frightened to think about.

I am actually kind of sad part one is nearing an end but at the same time very excited to read part two and learning how Brennan (and Jason) are reunited with their family. I really wish you could put this novella into a movie so I could watch it unfold. Hey, to the reviewer called, M.J, why don't you head over to Maddox's Tumblr page and read the posts before giving up on it. You don't know what you will be missing.

You make Richard seem like a charming guy, all suave and everything like that. It's sometimes hard to reconcile
the fact that he's worse that Phil.

Also, I'm extremely freaked out by Richards house - I live by a house that matches the description - except maybe the cabin/pool house in the back. but still, it's like the drive in again in terms of creepiness.

I'm itching for the next chapter, even your promise of the worst cliffhanger in history isn't enough to deter
how much I need to read the next part. My thoughts are going crazy trying to imagine how Brennan finally makes his move! (and also how he helps Jason escape - I'm assuming it's Brennan's doing anyway).

There is one part I would like to point out: "Phil with a shower wrapped around his waist" .
I kind of pictured him with a shower curtain all wrapped around him, all chagrined; the mental image was enough to make me chuckle a little bit.

Omg..... seriously. What sort of miraculous plan must be needed for them to escape?!
The captors are like all set! They live in totally isolate places, they mind fuck you so you get so scared to escape. On top of all that, they make is IMPOSSIBLE to escape (except for those rare RARE chances - which all have ended up in FAILURE).
FUCK! Why didn't the poison work?!?!??! Jason should've WHACKED him in the head with something when he was busy vomiting! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!! JASON! Escape was RIGHT IN YOUR HAND!!! WHAT HAPPPENED?! WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE IT?!

I feel so SO frustrated that their attempts have all ended in FAILURE! WHY WHY WHY! ARGH! It's all like, just a little bit more. JUST ONE MORE SECOND - and they would've made it. ARGH! argh....

another thing, how many more anniversaries is Brennan gonna be able to take 'well'. Seeing as, so far, we've not read of him needing any stitches... Because seriously, double anal penetration can be done, there are people out there who actually like it. But it's a fetish to be done with extreme care and caution and preperation. Which, Brennen has NONE. Barely even lube dammit. How is he NOT a bleeding torn mess everytime. I seriously do not get, how he can even still STAND the next day at all. Is Al and Phil's dicks really thin? It didn't sound like it during the earlier chapters, taking how 'big' Al was described to be. Or has Brennnan gotten really loose... That sure would give pooping a prob... I'm thinking too much. But the mechanics of things always bother me even though I know this is supposed to be fiction and not all true-to-life... but....

Since it's not all true to life, THEN WHY HAVENT THEY ESCAPED ALREADY!!!!?????

*sobs* 19 chapters in. Are you gonna be torturing your (sadistic) readers more, or is escape in the near future.... or death....

Oooh, I got excited when I saw the story listed under the latest list thinking you uploaded a new chapter but you must have edited some stuff. I am really losing sleep over this story especially wondering how I can help Brennan escape before he is permanently damaged and trying to think of different ways I could torture the guys hurting him.
