Wow, I can't believe it's been nearly three years (or will be in Feb) since you first started writing this story. I remember reading the first couple of chapters but then lost track of it over time. I see you have been updating sporadically since originally posting it and am tempted to start reading what you have written but then decided to wait it out and see what happens. I hope someday to find it again and hopefully will be able to read the full story in one sitting. It seems like you have a gem of story by all the hits and reviews so I am sure you are proud of your accomplishment. I think you are one of the few talented writers here and hope to someday be able to read more of your stories.

Oh, I apologize, it's been nearly two years not three since you first started writing this story. My mistake!

I've just finished reading what you've got posted so far in Waiting in the Throes. I'm glad that Brennan got back to his family but I'm still curious about what ever happened to Jason. This is probably one of the best stories I've read on this site. I look forward to your next post.

I don't think I could have handled reading this story except for the fact I read your note this it is being told in parts with the first dealing exclusively with the abduction arc and that you are a sucker for happy endings. I never thought part one would have the twist it had and am on pins and needles awaiting the rest of next part. I never thought I would feel such love and compassion for a character as I do with Brennan and hate towards his rapists and kidnappers. It was very difficult at times for me to actually finishing reading and not skip over certain parts of story but I managed and am glad I did. I do wish story could be updated more frequently because it's keeping me teetering on the edge of my seat waiting but hope that it will be worth it in the end.

Hi, I was just reading over all the reviews to help pass the time until you update again and some of them really confuse me. Why on Earth do some reviewers actually think the story is complete when it's obviously still a work-in-progress. I don't think they are reading the same story I am and that they should stop skipping over chapters - go back and read the first chapter - try reading story again with a more open mind - and read chapter 24 again - then they would know it's not finished or concluded like they think but is still being written. Obviously, these reviewers can not read or need glasses because they are blind.

That was a great chapter. I was waiting to read it till it got closer to a maybe update ish time, I figured I have a while left but I couldn't help myself. Was babysitting my niece at her house till 1am and got home and decided it was WITT time! *Yawn stretch* It's now 3:33am haha. I'll be off to bed now, probably to dream of WITT so please excuse the short review! This chapter was very emotional, and must have been a really hard one to write. I liked the ending scene with his dad- can't believe he let his father kiss his forehead after what happened with his mom- though he was probably a bit groggy from sleep. But that was a very nice scene, was good to have it end on a fuzzy note this time. Oh man, he's going to have a hard time with life for a while, sounds more than incredibly stressful. Next chapter soon pweas!! :3 And glad to see you on Goodreads! I gave WITT 5 stars cuz I’m awesome.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm breakdowns. are good in a sense you know.
he should have more. but, healthier ones would be nice.
i imagine it'd be quite akward, having a breakdown while lying down, with wet hair. and the person you're talking to is upside down.
but well.....
You've said no news about Jason.
and Richard, and Al and Phil.... as long as they are not found, Berenan isn't exactly safe.
I'd advise him to take on several types of arts of defence (inclusive of firearms) the moment he's better. And read up on escape techniques.
and find Jason.

Amazing. Hope to see an update soon. Though one thing that kept poking at me all though it was good, Phil being as cruel and sadistic as he was, his way of speaking sounded much like a woman. But anyways its good but i so hope Brennan finds himself a lover :)

Maddox, this story is beyond amazing. You're one hell of a writer...I keep wondering what happened to poor Jason though. I hope he's alright.
