I just wanted to let you know how much your story has affected me in so many different ways. It makes me be more
appreciative of my life and what I take for granted especially my freedom to take care of myself and not have to depend on someone else to take care of my personal needs. I feel torn for what Brennan and his friend have suffered but hope things get better for them.

Wow! You're good. Could not stop reading. Totally cried (never happens). I am now completely invested in seeing Brennan have a happy ending. Please, please, please, (begging here) continue this story.

Wow, your development of the story really is amazing.
I'm speaking of the writing of cause, not what's happening to Brennan.
His dad seems like the best one out there, the mom and bro just don't know how to react properly. And the shower incident - well was it even much of an incident - made me wonder how louise felt or what did she think. I mean if I were, say, a nurse and bathing my patient. and he starts crying. and i know why... maaaaaaaaaaan, that'd be awkward, like should I stop? shoul we just call it all off and quickly get him dressed? guess that's why im not a nurse...
I know it's all new and fresh and the wounds are all still very raw. But I'd really like to read more, and I'd like to see Brennan really recover - especially from his wounds first. I'm sure once his body is feeling better, he will have a better shot at healing his mind.

I just read all 25 chapters in one sitting and am overwhelmed by so many feelings. This story is really good. The scenario and characters are very vivid and believable. I can picture everything that has played out perfectly in my imagination and it scares the crap out of me. Anxiously awaiting to be able to read the rest of it.

Hmm, I figured someone was nearby when Phil was trying to dispose of Brennan, so that wasn't really a surprise. Brennan certainly earned a stroke of dumb luck, so there it was. I wonder if Phil and Al have a gun, it's possible he could have killed the dog and the woman and buried them, too, but I suppose he doesn't know who knows she's there, or if anyone else is nearby. Anyway, we know that Phil knows Brennan has been found and probably went to a hospital, the question is how sure he is that Brennan is dead. I also wonder if he told Al - likely this would've been on the news that someone had been found, particularly when they wanted to identify who it could be, and Phil would have known that person was Brennan, but hopefully there was no mention if he was alive or not.
Hospitals actually have ways of showering patients that don't involve standing (and not sponge baths). I used to use them when I worked with a paraplegic client at an old job - there are special adjustable shower chairs that involve transfer via a sort of sling. I thought Brennan could use that, too, if he was unable to stand for a shower. It seems he can manage for a few minutes, anyway, so that's good! Too bad about his arm, though. I'm actually hoping Brennan can get dental implants, I think them yanking out his teeth was one of the things that bothered me the most, but maybe he's used to it now and doesn't really care about aesthetics.
I figured Brennan would be on suicide watch - he's obviously not very emotionally stable now, and he told his mom he wished he were dead - that'd be pretty instant suicide watch for most patients. That's all right, frankly, he probably needs all the supervision he can get at this point for more reasons than one. I doubt Brennan has HIV, though, just because I think the "organization" would be careful about that sort of thing. I imagine that any guy with a taste of rape who wants to meet up with Rich, Phil, Al, etc., would need to be clean and possibly have medical proof. It seems pretty stupid if Rich lets Cole rape Jason and Brennan, say, and Cole is HIV positive and suddenly everyone gets it. And since his initial tests came back negative, I doubt Phil and Al would let themselves acquire it later on. But I guess the medicine doesn't hurt... or maybe it does, but who knows, better safe than sorry.
Anyway, interesting chapter! I guess the police will come back to talk to Brennan next chapter, he will tell them about the "organization" and they will bring news of Jason (hope he's okay - that kid deserves happiness, security, and more than a few kittens). I hope we can still see more of Phil and Al later on, I think they're the most interesting characters and there are a lot of unanswered questions still out there, I think - like why did Al suddenly agree to kill Brennan and let Phil do it so horribly (no insisting that Brennan be killed quickly and painlessly? and he didn't think to give him any pain medicine? feels like something doesn't add up!), what deal did Phil and Al make with Rich and Cole, what influence did Rich have on Brennan's murder, will everyone try to abduct a new kid or have Phil/Al decided that's no good for them (with Al stuck on Brennan and Phil realizing it's too much trouble and he gets jealous), and so on! Of course it's great to have a break and let Brennan recover but I think this will be on the back of my mind every chapter, haha.

Oh, please do continue this story, I keep wanting to read more so I can find out what happens to Brennan and his friend Jason. I kept clicking next chapter but then it stopped so I hope you will be writing more soon. This story is just too good not to continue it.

Wow, you're back, I have missed reading this story. Where have you been? Hopefully, we can read more of it sooner than later. I thought you had discontinued it or something. I guess you've just been busy but really wish you could find more free time to work on and finish it before another year passes us by. I am sorry but just want to finally read the rest of Brennan's story and fnd out what happens in the end to him, his friend - Jason, and the criminals who hurt them. Please, please, please give us a resolution in the not too distant future. I know you are probably busy and just writing in your spare time. I know you don't get paid for it and don't have to share it. But, I also do know from reading all the reviews that you get a lot of input from readers who love your story and to me that is a very valuable asset. Happy Holidays! Thanks for writing another chapter! Oh, it's nice to see part one is now over and the part two is focused on Brennan's healing and reunion with his family.
