Brennan is having another panic attack at the end I presume? I always love your updates- and I'm glad you didn't rush the hospital part. Love that Sam is interested in Al and phil because it connects us to her.

As always it's a heart pounding ride with this story I honestly feel everything that B goes through there have even been times that it was so real that I had to skip ahead just to block out what has happened and then I think no no don't do that it's not fair to B to go through that alone...

I hope that the end was just an imagination due to his panick attack if not i hope someone stops them !! What will they do to him if they get away i dont even want to think about it !!! The important think is that rigth now i am BITTING MY NAILS OFF please update as soon as posible !!!!! This is REALLY god congratulations and keep the good work !! :D

Please keep going i beg of you !! The sotry its in its best part !!! I want to see him getting better and leaving what those asholes did behind him !!!

I can truly see why it takes a while for the updates not just life in general but the thought and time and effort you put into this story is AMAZING!!! You've got some serious talent I hope to read something published by you in the future! I can only hope for a happy ending but life is not always so accomodating and you are of course the writer and I'll still read on to the end I truly hope this didn't happen to you or someone you knew! read you later...

Awesome chap. It feels like Brennan is getting better - I'm confused as to how he ends up in his chapter 1 state when he has all this support and is already braving things... Will be interesting to see. Dying to meet the love interest!!

Yay, happy to see an update! And a nice one, too. It's good to see Brennan being so social (of course I say that, circumstances considered). I know he's not doing well by any stretch of a definition, but he opened up to Matt, warmed to his Mom, and joked around with Sam, and I'd say that's progress in itself. I think I mentioned it before, but it will be interesting to get to know Brennan, at least in a normal life, though I guess that's already tainted. Well, let's see, what else... It seems like Officer Kent made some kind of connection when Brennan hesitated about the brand. I don't know if she recognized it, or just is realizing there is more to this than she thought. I assume at least Jason was photographed at the hospital as well, maybe he mentioned something about an organization and the other boys that have been kidnapped as well. Perhaps one of the other boys escaped also at one point and the mark is on record? Probably not, but I guess only you know!

I'm not sure how much more is going to happen in the hospital, but I'm eager to see what happens when Brennan gets back and how he acclimates to normal life again. And of course any future drama involving Phil, Al or Rich. :D Sorry, maybe it's still way too soon!

Another outstanding chapter! It was extremely well written, as we have come to expect, and well worth the wait.

I found myself holding back tears several times while reading this chapter. I'm so glad that Matt was with Brennan-he became Brennan's anchor to reality.

Having each scar examined, photographed, and explained must have been like slow torture for Brennan-really like reliving each incident that caused each scar. Fortunately, Chloe was adept at reading Brennan's body language, because Brennan was unable to even use their pre-arranged signs most of the time,and knew when Brennan needed a break.
I was really touched by the way that Brennan wanted to protect Matt from hearing about the worst of his injuries. Matt was really reluctant to hear about how Brennan got these injuries, but stayed strong for his brother and supported him. I liked that they gave comfort to each other.

Could Detective Kent have really thought that Brennan belonged to some secret college fraternity where the members got branded? But it WAS astute of her to realize that Brennan didn't want to talk about the brand with Detective Peters (a stranger) in the room. So sad that Brennan thinks that anyone at all knowing about the brand will eventually result in him being recaptured by the Organization.

The description of Brennan's dinner makes it sound very unappetizing indeed! I wouldn't want to eat it either!

I am so glad that Brennan's mom was finally, finally, able to do something right in Brennan's eyes for a change. Being able to wear his own broken-in, comfy clothes will certainly make him feel better. And she brought him the gift of a visit from Sam! Brennan had a bunch of misgivings at first, but Sam seemed to instinctively know just the right things to say and do--good for her!

I liked Dr. Everett. She is well aware of the fact that Brennan wants nothing to do with her and would prefer to never have to talk about his horrible ordeal again. She knows he can't just pretend that his kidnapping never happened,
as much as he would like to do that. I think she will be very patient with Brennan and will hopefully,eventually be able to help him overcome his many fears.
